Don't get me wrong, I'm in better shape than 98% of the guys in my age range. But I never thought it would happen to me where even after radically altering my diet to incorporate way more greens (from zero greens) & basically no fried or fast food, that my metabolism would slow to a crawl. Now TBH, I did have a stomach illness a few years ago that really f***ed me up & it has affected me to an unquantifiable degree, but even before that, I noticed the gut growing when I hit 40.

You'll be in better shape at that point because you don't drink beer...that's a killer, but you're an outlier, not the norm. Look around, most guys in their 40s are fat, bald & miserable (marriage). They drink more to forget those things.

Palat is going to want to stay in Tampa. He is going to get at least 6 million a year. Tampa is already 2 million over the cap and have other players besides him to re-sign and have several pending RFAs the following season like Cirelli and Cernak. Don’t know how they can keep him. He will also be 31 yo next season. Probably going to have to cap dump Killorn somewhere if they want to keep him.

The complaining about the refs is beyond. For that reason alone, I'm hoping the Avs finish them. Just a completely pathetic look from a team that should be above that given what they've done the past few seasons.
