I’d love for that to be true, but nah. The Panthers are way too good. I’m glad my oilers avoided the sweep and I believe they’ve shown that they belong in the SCF, but they’re not going 4 straight against FLA.

This is what game 1 should have looked like. The Oilers dominated that game.

Even after the Panthers won game 3, I had a feeling that Edmonton's offense was finally going to break through but felt like game 1 might eventually come back to haunt them in the end, hopefully not.
