If you look at my logo, you would also realize I don't have no horse in this game either. But to me it doesn't matter what team, call it consistently. What happens a lot is, refs let things go and then all of sudden, plays that they let go all of a sudden is a penalty.

This is exactly the problem with the "it's the playoffs" mentality. They let stuff go inconsistently and what happens on the first goal happens. You can't call the Lomberg crosscheck and not call the Barbashev hit. You know that, I know that and everyone else knows that, but they don't want to admit it.

2 goals clearly from botched calls.. 1st one should have been 4 on 4 and the 2nd one there was a clear missed slash and also a crosscheck on tkachuk. This is unreal. Referees are missing clear ones from florida as well. I get that this is the playoffs, but this is horribad.

You missed a slash by Barbashev, the goalies stick on Tkachuk, a cross check by Bennett in the O zone, a flying elbow by Verhaage as he was headed to the bench, a few holds by both teams…

The Panthers got called for that exact penalty last game. They also got 4 minutes for something much softer than what Hill did. They’ve also gotten two away from the puck calls this game that were softer than this.

Refs tend to call things when they lead to scoring chances or take them away so yes that is a factor. And this turned the play into a 3 on 2 immediately so it wasn’t hard to tell what the impact of the pick was

Don't forget all the times the ref have blocked florida shots and kicked pucks into the net for vegas

They were also outshot and outpossessed in just about every single game in both series' as well, they were superior at putting the puck in the net, which is all that matters at the end of the day, but there's almost zero question goaltending was the deciding factor against all three of their opponents.
