Call on the ice had to stand, video was never going to overturn that one... too close to call. Not at all definitive
most people don't think it's fixed. People just like hockey and want to see the players win without much referee interference. I don't think the final result was unfair at all. Better team in that game won. It was a nice and entertaining watch. Looking forward to the next one.

Has a high stick every been challenged and won that wasn't obvious? The angles are so bad it's almost impossible for it to be conclusive.

They lost control of themselves and punched guys who were tied up by the refs. They were super easy calls.

Apparently above his shoulder is the rule, looked like it was above the shoulder.
You can say "he's leaning" (though not by much) but then why make the judgment point the shoulder if it's not a fixed point in the first place.
But it was not a high stick. No need for opinions.
I mean, everyone was chippy, but Tkachuk punched a guy being held by a ref right in the face, right in front of two officials.

It was ver clear Tkachuk had little recourse when the refs werent playing his game.
The VGK players laughed off his attempts to escalate all night and he seemed utterly bewildered.
