Well at least we've got more of a reason to win those games now. Can't let those guys have bad birthdays.

I'm hoping Zuccarello will put the first one tonight. He's been playing great, but just can't beat Quick.

No matter what happens, fans have a reason to be proud and satisfied. This has been the greatest season for the Rangers in 20 years :handclap:

Well said :handclap:

Doughty's quotes are benign. Context: he said he wants the team to approach tonight's game as a game 7, as if it's a 'must win'. Nothing to see here.....

He also said his team wants to win more than the Rangers.

Bulletin Board material for the opposing team is always a stupid idea.

He's taking a page out of the Rangers' book during the ECF in game 6 in New York. We did NOT want to go back to Mtl for game 7.

Over whom?

Over Dorsett. Not to knocking Dorsett, just want to throw something at them they haven'y seen yet in this series.

Someone to get in Quick's face and agitate. They know too well what to expect from us. Gotta change it up.

Dorsett could probably use the rest, he's been banging away. I'd go right back to him on Monday though.

Does anyone think the Boyle Moore Dorsett line should be put back together? I really liked the way they played the first 3 games and that 4th line just didn't seem as effective in game 4 with Richards on it...

Wish the Rangers had some clowns like him.

Uh...

Doughty's height, weight, and date of birth: 6'1", 213 lb, 12/8/89

McDonagh's height, weight, and date of birth: 6'1", 213 lb, 6/13/89

Doughty's last three seasons: 95 points in 203 games

McDonagh's last three seasons: 94 points in 206 games

Doughty this postseason: 17 points in 25 games

McDonagh this postseason: 16 points in 24 games

:squint:

Doughty shoots right, which is rarer, but McDonagh's cap hit is $2.3 million lower and each is signed for the next five seasons.

I don't think the Kings will be the least bit nervous, unless they are down late. They are a workmanlike group.

My hope is that NY pots 2 power play goals. I really want Nash back on the Power Play and Richards off it. Surprise me AV. Make an adjustment.

disagree. they may be workman like but can they close the deal ? i still think hank gets in their heads tonight and frustrates them. they dont want to go back to ny for game 6.

all the pressure is on them tonight at home. lots of energy but will it work against them ?

agree we need a few early goals and for sure some breaks.

i would like to see nash on the pp as well and both mcd and moore on the points. i like moore firing away slappers off that mcd pass. no more richards on the pp. hes done.

like usual, henrik is the key. if hes on, we have a pretty good chance.

i feel pretty good about tonight.
