Maybe if stepan distributed the puck properly on an odd man rush kreider wouldn't need to go to the net. Take a shot and have everyone crash is the ideal play for that? Um no.

Considering the defenseman was playing Step tight, absolutely.

Kreider ****ed up and has sucked all series.

God I don't think I hate a team more than LA after watching this series after all their fluke goals, gift calls and constant dead puck era obstruction.

I don't hate THEM, but I'm really starting to hate the so-called experts who aren't seeing the gift calls, obstruction, and just plain luck the Kings have had throughout the playoffs. AND, the same experts try to say after the couple breaks the Rangers got in Game 4 that everything is even.

The bad thing is that if the Kings do win the Cup, we're going straight into another dead puck era as everyone will "legally obstruct and interfere".

I disagree with that goalie interference calls... If the goalie is coming out of his crease in the path of another player it shouldn't be a penalty

I have to mention it. Would anyone be upset if this series was tied 2-2 down 1-0 after the first period of game 5? The goal would have always been to win game six and get it to game 7 even if the Rangers lost game 5. Now they have no margin for error.

So, if Quick was at the hash marks an Poo bumps him, is it goalie interference? Trying to gauge what constitutes as GI.

69.4 Contact Outside the Goal Crease - If an attacking player initiates any contact with a goalkeeper, other than incidental contact, while the goalkeeper is outside his goal crease, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed.

A goalkeeper is not “fair game†just because he is outside the goal crease. The appropriate penalty should be assessed in every case where an attacking player makes unnecessary contact with the goalkeeper. However, incidental contact will be permitted when the goalkeeper is in the act of playing the puck outside his goal crease provided the attacking player has made a reasonable effort to avoid such unnecessary contact.

When a goalkeeper has played the puck outside of his crease and is then prevented from returning to his crease area due to the deliberate actions of an attacking player, such player may be penalized for goalkeeper interference. Similarly, the goalkeeper may be penalized, if by his actions outside of his crease he deliberately interferes with an attacking player who is attempting to play the puck or an opponent.

It's an ODD MAN rush. they clearly don't have enough men to cover everyone. Pass it to the open man. It's not rocket science. Sorry if i'm expecting him to make an NHL play from an NHL player.

exactly. it wasnt like quick was set up there and the puck was cylced for 4 or 5 seconds. he slid up and out of the crease into the path of an already moving and defended player. hows pouliot supposed to stop, he knew he wasnt near the crease so hes not worried about hitting the goalie, then boom quick jumps right into his path.

Sucks...again, poo makes the same play the kings made in game 2 to score a goal and yet its a penalty

Yup.

The officiating in this series has been as corrupt as World Cup soccer officiating that's biased toward certain favored nations.

Yes, I think the NHL wants the LA Kings to win the Cup.

Stepan DID make an NHL play: shoot it hard, cause a rebound. Kreider had too much room and ****ed it up. Just deal with it, your Stepan hate is way misguided.

So tired of this performance by Rick Nash. 7.8 mil, 0 points in the finals. You don't pay a good forechecker and defensive player 7.8 mil. I get that he's been doing that, it's time to find the back of the net.

So annoyed between the game 2 non call and these tools on nbc not even bringing up the interference on the first goal here, instead just kiss Williams ass like he made some great play there... at least address it and show what happened.

but the calls NOT consistent with the way the series has been officiated. thats my issue

You don't even know what i'm talking about do you?

It was an odd man rush and he flubbed the puck to the corner. The kreider play was a completely seperate play and wasn't even an odd man rush. Don't accuse me of "hating" anything when you don't even know what you are talking about.

I don't see this guy playing for this team in the foreseeable future.

Kreider really does need to pick up his game he's been pretty useless this series. Not detrimental like Richards and Girardi but useless nonetheless.
