The guys sound defeated. I can't say I blame them. A win tonight would be nice but I'm not really expecting it.

The Kings probably want to win in home ice, and the Rangers probably don't want to go through two cross country flights while delaying the inevitable. We could be in for a weird game tonight.

Reminds me of the South Park episode where the kids are in a baseball tournament and all of the teams want to lose so they can go home

Our only chance is if the Kings want to win at home instead of on the road!

don't think the Rangers have a chance of winning if the Kings don't take the game lightly? I doubt the Kings would rather win at home. I think they smell blood and will do everything possible to bring the Cup home and to not open the crack a bit for the Rangers to get back into the series. Can't tell you the Rangers' mindset now, but if they have skating legs, and if Lundqivst can make the saves that got the team here, they have a chance.

There is a zero percent chance this team, especially Sutter, would consider the preference to win the series on home ice rather than just close it out tonight.

I think they have more than a chance. Game 3 is behind us and they are always exhausted when they first return from road trips. Tonight they are going to win by sheer force of will. I think they've been working hard but tonight they're going to give it all they've got and pummel the Kings. It will be desperation hockey and the Rangers will emerge victorious.

Never thought I'd be unexcited to watch a Ranger SCF game. Feel like I'm going to my little cousin's school play, out of duty and respect.

I just feel like winning 4 is close to impossible against this team. When they eventually lose, I'm going to feel like I wasted hours of my life that I'll never get back.

Anybody want to guess what kind of ******** call will gift the Kings their stanley cup?

One of the few jobs in the world you can completely suck at night after night and still not get fired.

NHL refs and the Mets GM. Exempt from firage.

I hope to see desperation hockey. Seems as though that non-call interference goal deflated the team and it unfortunately never rebounded. Took Lundqvist off his game a bit too, which was a bit surprising. It will be an interesting game. While the first goal isn't always a determinant of the winner, a goal against could be deflating. Just hoping that they aren't mentally and physically done.

Weatherman immediately comes to mind.

Some refs have been fired in the past, and a couple of times in the 80s and 90s, it was kind of too public. O'Halloran's got one foot in retirement anyway.

In my opinion, hockey is - by far - the toughest game to officiate. Its a fast-moving game from the stands or on TV and most of us can't even imagine how fast things are moving at ice-level. The advent of slo-mo replay and a hundred camera angles help make the fans experts.

Theres no consistency whatsoever with the goalie interference rule. That an NHL rules issue too, not just a ref issue.

“@AGrossRecord: Carcillo just left the ice. Only two goalies Miller Fast Falk and Diaz remain.”

Looks like Carcillo will be in tonight.
