[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I think you feel a lot of different emotions right now, and anger is probably one of them. I think it’s important that you don’t feel sorry for yourself.
But, you know, you’re disappointed and upset you’re in this position. But at the same time you have to accept it and move on and get ready for the next game.
But today, yeah, it’s not a happy room, obviously. We worked really hard and long to get here. Again, we’re playing a really good team.
They take advantage of mistakes. They play extremely well defensively, I think. We still believe that we can do it.
We have to start by just focusing on the first period tomorrow.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I can’t be satisfied with my game when we’re losing.
Chances aren’t good enough, they have to go in. I have to be able to help the team win.
- Rick Nash

We've gotten out of deficits before. We believe in each other in here.
We're just going to keep preparing the same way and come out with everything we've got. We've got nothing to save it for now.
- Ryan McDonagh

We’re down 3-0, we’re all lacking sleep, this is tough. We’re in the Stanley Cup Final and we’re down 3-0.
You don’t get a lot of these opportunities. Excuse us if today we’re not real cheery. But tomorrow I can tell you we’re going to show up.
- Alain Vigneault

BELIEVE.

.

“Do you remember that scene from that movie on Netflix? The team was down, and the coach, he gave that speech. Yea yea, you remember that scene? Remember what he said? Well that gentlemen that is what I’m saying!”

First game of the season that simply doesn't matter. Who cares. What's our schedule next season and which rookies are likely to make it?

It's irrelevant 'cos the Rangers are winning this one, but; if the Kings somehow got the W, who do you think would get the Conn Smyth?

Quick... at least if the Rangers can't win it, it will be a big-time Rangers fan (which Quick always was).

I have no doubt AV is correct, they will show up, but just showing up isn't going to be enough.

I heard the music coordinator is having the Rangers come out to 'Taps' tonight.

Nothing to lose. Hope the players just forgets about everything and goes out on the ice and play one hell of a game.

 probably my favorite commercial of the postseason.

Please just win me one. I can deal with the fact that we should've been up 2-0 in the series and absolutely blew it, but if we can't win just one game...

I just want to see the team play competitively and not mail it in, and please god, not get shutout on home ice a second game in a row.

Anything beyond that is gravy.

A change from Baba O'Riley would be welcome but it has been a wasteland of sorts.

The guys sound defeated. I can't say I blame them. A win tonight would be nice but I'm not really expecting it.

The Kings probably want to win in home ice, and the Rangers probably don't want to go through two cross country flights while delaying the inevitable. We could be in for a weird game tonight.

No margin for error maybe the only scenario that forces this team to play the near perfect game needed of them, or it could just make them play tight, afraid to make a mistake hockey. ..

Time for the big guys to show up

The Cup will be in the house tonight. I'm hoping that it remains locked in it's case for another week or so.
