Not really, part of being an underdog and given no shot is the self-depreciating hyperbole. I find good fun in it. The people that make fun of the Eastern Conference as if it's the AHL are an order of magnitude more annoying then people just having fun being given no shot.

I compare Quick to Hank by removing all games where LA had more than 4 goals scored on them. I don't like to skew #'s when comparing.

We're about to play our first Stanley Cup-final in 20 years, and I still can't believe it. I just hope the players don't share my amazement. We can't be caught soaking it all in, have to hit the ice running! LGR.

I think he will be a nightmare for the Kings D. He's bigger than their fast guys and way faster than their big guys. I think if he'd played the entire playoffs he'd be in the Conn Smyth conversation.

How are you? I do post on the Jets board but not TGG, I post on Jetoffensive. Basically it's a lot of ball busting with some really good Jets talk sprinkled in, it's a ton of fun but not for anyone....well we do have an awesome tailgate though.
Time for a 3 hour cat nap, Norwegian style...
Then if the game doesn't go to OT I leave for work on a 3 hour sleep cycle...

I never considered Carter to have elite speed, I know he's fast but he isn't so fast that defensemen have to forget gap control and get back as fast as possible speed. Then again Kreider doesn't have Carters puck skills.

Quick may be injured you say. You know, a few weeks back i gave a gypsy beggar about $15. Maybe, just maybe she cursed the opponents of my favourite team with one of these powerful gypsy curses and now rangers only have to face backup-goalies.
