Man that ump was pissing me right off. Couldn't stand watching the game, was getting so annoyed by him almost every at-bat.

I rarely complain about the umpires cuz it usually evens out - the good with the bad. And you're gonna get some bad calls now and then, it happens. But THAT was the worst-called game I think I've ever seen

It's very un-Edwin like what I saw today. Some of it is on the ump, but rarely do you see him argue with an umpire. Let alone in the 1st inning. Let alone get ejected.

I agree you can see Edwin holding his arms behind his back to control himself. This ejection was a direct cause of the loss because the whole game they missed his bat, with him this game was probably won in 9 innings.

Hutch to the pen? finally.

He might not even be an upgrade but it's been pretty weird that it's taken them this long to give him a shot.

and he might even be good there.

is goins still on the team?

Can't send down your best reliever.

Yeah it's not like the bullpen has been effective and they didn't need him (Hutch)
Guess they were waiting on Sanchez to see when he might go to the pen.. A move I'm not a fan of

Schultz performed well yesterday. I'm sure it's just a matter of shuffling things around to get as many fresh arms up here for today.

It's only a matter of time, but he is rocking a .344obp over the last week so it's not like he's a gas can out there.

Definitely an umpire with a bias against a Canadian based team! JMHO.

I don't think it's bias against Canadian teams, he's just a bad umpire and had a bad day, it would be nice if the media would interview them after the game like they do with players.

There's gotta be some kind of accountability

You would think so, but there is not.

It should just be like players. If you suck at your job you go down to the minors.

He has shown before that he sucks, he should be no where near a major league game.

I'm surprised the Jays haven't signed any of the top international prospects for the past couple of years.

If we're not looking spend in FA, you can at least invest in the international market.

We finally signed Kirby Snead (10th round pick this year) to under slot. Signed all first 10 picks this year.

Saved $146,095 from the allotted $6,999,195 ($6,665,900 + 5%). Any interesting late round players? Blake Ebo is a name I see alot.

Given the large crowds this year, any recommendations for what time I should show up tomorrow to get a Tulo bobblehead?
