There were a few times guys were banged up or wincing on the bench. Drury took a shot to the hand, Jarvis took a hit to the head, Chatfield was shaken up on a hit.

Nothing that kept them out of the game, but something to keep an eye on

We obviously got better as the game went on.

I put this loss on the long layoff. We seem to always lose the first game after a lengthy break.

We were better than we were in the 1st. Yes, no goals were scored on either side but I did think we were better in the 2nd than in the first and we were great in the 3rd.

PP goals definitely not on him. 4th goal 100 percent. Burns shouldn't have turned it over but Andersen needs to make that save.

I know he's kicking himself about it and probably apologized to the players in the locker room for letting that one slip by and costing them the game.

If we win game 2 all is forgiven. Gotta get the 2nd one.

I didn't like his positioning (falling down) on the 3rd. I still expected a save on 1 of the first 3 GA. Freddy was deep and going down early, but the D in front of him was blind and out of position.

There a lot of thank you cards to write in a loss.

My only hope is the loss leads to fixing the lines and Kooch in net. Maybe try that Nachos Svech line again. But Stone Hands should be a purely defensive line imo.

I didn't like the part I was still awake and we lost. Pretty sure Ranger Fans I'm looking at @Leonardo87 organized roadworks right outside my room so we couldn't win while I was asleep.
