Scandal In Leaf Land (who'll start in net?)

Who gets the start Saturday in Montreal, Reimer or Scrivens?

I think Scrivens is a possibility since he's been playing all year.

Your thread is bad and you should feel bad. Obviously Reimer, he is the starter.

Then why respond? I was hearing Reimer looked rusty at training camp

But its still training camp. No one is going full bore in training camp. You cant get a read on guys until the puck drops for real.

So Reimer got shelled today; Do we know how the defense in front of him played? How about his team as a whole? This applies to Kadri's hat trick too. Dion isnt going to lay out Kadri or Kessel, subsequently they may get into positions that would be virtually unstoppable for any goalie.

I see what you're saying, but Reimer need's to start. He's slotted to be the guy as of right now. He hasn't played in a while, and the only way to know if he's the real deal or not is to have him starting right out the gate. If he stumbles, you've got a mid season Scrivens waiting to take over. But in my opinion, you have to show him the confidence and trust to give him the pipes in Montreal. Get him on a roll and start it early, because if not confidence just doesn't build itself back up within a week. Look at what happened to Gus.

We trade for Justin Pogge. He finishes with 48 shutouts then leads us to the Cup.

Unfortunately as of right now it's looking like James Reiner. Although I'm encouraged to have read no is say he was "content" with the goaltending situation. A trade may be coming and boy do we need one we can't dress two backups.
