If Dubas was here our D would be calling up AHL smurfs and not playing these "long" D we have back there looking incredibly solid.

He traded assets for every single one of the players you listed and retained almost none of them. That isn't building a hard team, that's patching holes.

But it was like a submarine peppered by a machine gun and he patched a couple holes.

I think both years we signed the best depth D... also, I don't really care about our 7/8 Ds...

He had more than half the players I listed for more than a year.

We shuffled chairs again... I believe in this core so I like it it, but it's weird how the people who wanted big change are on board now.

We are doing the same thing this year we do every year...

I really don't see how people look at this team and go "this year is different".

I think the results can be different, but this is the same thing we do every year.

People highly overrate the team build and highly underrated us going into the playoffs with Campbells and Samsonovs against Vezina trophy winners.
