Sarnia Sting 2024 25 Season Thread Part Iii

wow, somebody takes the swing on Barch RD1 & its Kitchener of course. See if he comes this yr or next. if he does its a great pick.
 
Well still have D like Forrest, Kunopaski, Johnson available. Reznik in net.

Jackman still available as are guys like Lappalainen, Freeman, Raynor who many had going RD1.

I knew he would go to one of the big 3. I said that a week or two ago, I thought it would have been London tho. Of course McLaughlin goes late first round just like expected. I’m seeing some of these players , 6’2, 6’3,6’4 , I hope Lammens grows another two or three inches, 6’0?is a pretty small “physical power forward” especially going up against windsor. Guarantee McLaughlin lights it up in Windsor. 😂

Wonder what we do in round two? Defenceman, little Caesar’s or another American player, goalie?

there's some great Dmen available.. If not them gotta go Reznik to me. I love some of the Fs available but we don't need another one. Take a need here.

Kunopaski, Forrest or Reznik is my hope.

Lammens is listed at 190 which is a super heavy 6'0.... those 6'3 guys are all string beans at 170 ish

Jackman would be ideal for us, big dude, lappalainen would be nice to steal out of windsors backyard, he’s good too, Kunopaski would be a steal for us on D. Reznik would be awesome if we take a goalie early.

Don’t know much about him, but he’s big and looks good, and adrian aucoins son. I like it
 


He's a 5 minute highlight video of him!

certainly looks like he loves to throw his weight around & is a smooth skater with a heavy shot.

Looks like hes barely trying in some clips & hes walking around guys with ease.

I can see why Sarnia went with him. 6'4, Right handed D, NHL bloodlines, big shot, solid skater, very physical. Ton of tools to work with.

Assuming hes coming (played in Chicago so never know) I like the pick!

Kid looks sick! Does everything you need him to, size, hits, great skater, walks the line, good shot. Hopefully Adrian trust his kid with Alan and Dylan. I wouldn’t lol 😂

He reminds me if Kelton Hatcher had skill.... Hatcher is still one of my all time fav sting players. Always looking to lay guys out which I loved.

Hopefully Seca says hes coming right away. Kid looks to have some serious potential. Also pretty clear they weren't joking about wanting to be bigger, harder to play against.

Lammens + Aucoin could be 2 kids who absolutely run over teams when they are 17/18/19.

I didn't even notice Nutting falling... I wouldn't have hated if Sarnia snagged him ... If we can get Reznik I think Buzz check a lot of boxes with rounds 1-3

people weren't kidding about it being a deep draft. there are kids still available many had going round 1.

Gotta feel like Buzz had a commitment before using basically a 1st round pick on him. At least a 2 year commitment.
