I think everyone should start making comments on the sting Facebook/instagram/twitter posts saying fire Letang. Or even send the sting messages. Hate to do that to someone but it’s the only way the sting will address this, they have gave him plenty of chances with good teams and bad, he doesn’t change or improve he sticks to his ways that don’t work, makes dumb decisions with lineups and in game choices, and simply is brutal at developing players. Get rid of him now.

lol I made a comment saying no one in the organization cares if the sting win or lose but the fans and it got deleted.

I just cant imagine he, Legwand & everyone else up top cant see the errors of his way this season.

There's no way Seca doesn't watch a game & think where the hell is Karimov? Where is Manza? Why is Bridgewater not used for the reasons I drafted him? I got Moses for our 4th line, why is he above Karimov, Manza, Kostuch in the lineup? These are guys I targeted because they have legitimately good skill.

There's no way the entire brass doesn't watch a Sting power play & think what the hell do these guys work on in practice?

There's no way they watch them play in OT & not think do these guys even practice it?

I don't know how internal talks about players go, but I'm sure they talk about certain goals/expectations for guys going into seasons & outside Edwards & Di Iorio, who exactly is gonna hit numbers to be happy with? Young maybe? Fischer? That's legitimately probably it.

Their vets have all regressed or stagnated outside 5-13. Outside Brown for that 20 game stretch (he's now struggling again) nobody has taken a step forward within the season. On a super young team that's bad. Really bad. We should be seeing guys trending up. Like we did with Kostuch, Doherty, Young last year.

They are garbage at/on ~
Powerplay.
Penalty Kil.
3on3 OT.
4on4.
Shootouts.
Holding leads.
Accountability.
Being able to respond to adversity.
Consistency.
Goals against they are 4th last & they've gotten more than solid goaltending.

I mean what more could a team suck at for a coach to be fired. Straight up. They tick every single box.

I can handle the team not being all that good. From the beginning I thought they were right there for 6th best, not far behind 5th, but if others around the league disagree im fine with it. If someone wants to say they are worse than SSM because they have Martin, Nordh, Mignosa as game changers & we don't I'd disagree that they are a better team, but whatever it's close.

What I cant handle is this team playing worse than EVERYONE else for 20 games in OCT/NOV & now 7 straight (gonna be 8 come Friday).. Thats 28 goddamn games. They've only played 54 soon to be 55 games!!! That means half the time this yr, the Sting have played worse hockey than everyone else in the league.

Thats freaking unacceptable. This team doesn't have an amazing lineup, but it sure as sh*t isn't that bad. They have two of the bigger game changers out of the recent draft who've exceeded expectations. They have two near PPG D in Young & Fischer. Filak & Doucette aren't elite OAs, but they were coming off 25 goal seasons on a less talented, far worse team.

Wainwright was coming off a 13G, 37 point year at 18. Brown was coming off a solid rookie year. Kostuch was coming off a great half season with Sarnia. They added Beamish who stepped in right away as a 1C who was near PPG. Karimov was pegged by many as a pretty damn good prospect for the NHL Draft. Bodin was a guy many thought deserved to be drafted & showed well at Buffalo camp. Hurt since the moment he's arrived has been a super reliable, strong defensive dman. Same with O'Brien. Manza was OJHL rookie of the yr.

This team isn't starved of solid-good OHL talent. They simply haven't gotten anywhere near enough out of that talent & that directly falls on the coach.

Played better actor Haley was scapegoated to save letang but letang clearly quit coaching and blaming his vets etc. Truth is Letang isn't a coach not now not ever, he is all talk.
I hope manza goes next year young Goes NCAA Wainwright goes NCAA and O'brien Letang and DS deserve a totally gut as they caused this IMO.
Side not Fischer has been our 5th best D last 6 games. Giveaways and hus body language shows what all players feel this Coach just confuses players.
Trust me when I say Edward's and di iorio will take steps backwards just like Brown has. Sure Brown had a run of points but alot of puck luck goals. this coach has no accountability for players and Players have stopped playing for Staff

Fischer has been bad, but he's nursing a lower body injury. Trying to play thru it. Definitely hurting his play quite badly.

Manza also blocked a shot today & was limping quite a bit. Karimov took a hit & went off in considerable pain (shoulder) but continued playing.

Heard Beamish injury isn't as bad as they originally thought but he's likely out a few weeks if not rest of regular season.

So on top of everything the injury bug appears to be returning.

Obviously we are very down & frustrated with the team, but gotta say I really enjoyed watching Simpson today.

2 huge hits on 6'3", 200 pound Nic Sima who's maybe SAGs most physical guy. Later in the game he went after him again. Was if he was trying to see how he measures up to their biggest guy & how can you not love that in only his 5th game.

Then I loved his assist. Slid it under the Ds stick before he could get set. Showed good IQ & touch with it.

He's had a strong yr in Cambridge. Type of prospect we need. Big kid, skates well, super physical & his offensive game is really coming along. Would like to see him more down the stretch.

I was saying that Simpson should've been on the team out of training camp. No one saw it at the time, but you can see that the kid has jam and confidence which alot of the times these young kids don't. He brings an element we don't have which was another reason I wanted him on the team. Speed and skill doesn't do much without some true bangers mixed in, not these one dimensional ones like francheschetti and moses.

Preparation, nutrition. training. Of course your always going to have injuries but when it's consistent year after year maybe it's time to look deeper into it.

Really knee on knee injuries like lueke and Beamish are just accidents can't prepare for that. Same with shoulder separations that's all part of the game.
Maybe playing beamish as much as Letang did opens things like this up as get tired and just don't have same jump

Problem is thinking or Allowing the D to have possession and wreck the offense and puck movement last while.
Fischer has been aweful/ to average last 6 games. Playing 25 mins a game isn't helping us get rollin.
Same with Hurt actually maybe regressing with his quick play as well.
Lots going on with this team and at this time of year again after the 2-21 stretch falls on 1 person which is changing to DS cause he has no will to fix what's needed and get rid of Letang and Jefferies.

Oh boy...glad I haven't subjected myself to many games the last month. What an absolute gong show of a season for this team. I'd assume firing Letang during the season would end up costing the organization quite a bit of money, so I'm going to hope that the only reason Letang is around still is budget related. This team has regressed from year one of a rebuild somehow and there's simply no excuses left for the coaching staff to use. All Letang does is whine about not having any vets.....Here's an idea! how about Letang coaches and molds the raw talent/potential some of these young guys have and turn them into the vet style players he so desperately craves, instead of sitting them on the bench to rot away in discouragement. But then again, I'm not sure that's the answer because he had a team full of all star vets and choked in a year where the West was at it's weakest, not to mention his comedic performance with a team full of the country's best jr players. Finish this abysmal season and let him and Jeffries go. Sting's best play is to keep losing and hope for a lottery pick. No point getting bent over by LDN in round 1!!! god this organization is such a joke.

Hate to keep piling on lol, but its wild to me twice in the last week post-game a player has mentioned their practices have been bad. Moses after yesterday said they've dipped from the level they were at when things were going well in January. Cant remember who said it in a previous game but he also mentioned their practices have been lacking.

Players deserve some blame in that, but as a coach how do you allow your practices to dip so far its effecting your games? Especially when I don't think we have guys like Ruzicka who mail in games on a weekly basis. Outside them occasionally quitting in the 3rd in lopsided games they usually bring an effort.

Just another red flag to go with the 20 other ones with this staff.

Consider yourself fortunate to have missed all the games lmao. I'm thinking the same way. As I posted last week, Letang (&Seca) have 1 year left on their contracts. No matter what I don't think he's here past next season, but even that is too long at this rate. I liked his first 2 seasons here ill stand by that, but his last 2 have been genuinely horrific on so many levels. They cant let him "mold" all this young talent into a bunch of grinders & guys who don't have any skills.

It's quite the double edged sword. Because missing the playoffs a 2nd year in a row, after hitting it big in the draft is a terrible, terrible look for an organization. Be pretty damn embarrassing. But on the other hand, id rather deal with the embarrassment than endure a week/4 games of being run over by London. Not a chance in hell id attend those games either & ive never missed a Sting playoff game since I became a fan. Screw that lol.

It would also make them have to seriously reconsider their window if they pick top 4-5 again.

I know not alot games lefr but give team to Matsos interim and get a D coach Asap like we have said all year.
Jefferies can stay but has to change to matsos pp asap
Been calling for letang on platter all year time is now cant have weak practices especially when D slowing down. Should be practicing pp everyday until it works. That's what a development coach does.

OS's schedule is pretty brutal. 9 road games. I'd say 11 of the 14 they'd be underdogs & pretty heavily in 7or8 of them. It's hard to see them making it with that hard of a schedule but they've been playing well & don't give up.

SSM has a 7 game home stand starting this weekend. First three come vs non playoff teams & then two vs inconsistent, skill teams in SBY/BRMP.. They could make quite the push these next 2.5 weeks.

SAR a bit of everything. Supposedly "easy" games against GUE x2, NB + huge games vs FLT x3, SSM x2 + tough games vs LDN, WSR x2, KIT, BAR. Team that played in JAN would do solid over this stretch. The current version im not sure wins more than 2-3-4 games at most.

FLT probably has the easiest schedule. Bunch of games vs ER/SAR/SSM/GUE. Only 2 games (WSR/BRNT) teams considered elite.

Honestly. This has all the makings of us coming 8th. Lmao. Gotta love being a Sting fan!

DS fire Letang, which should have happened not Haley! Talk is cheap from Letang no one buys his calling out of vets and hard work, details garbage with him running 35-45 Min practices (weak ones like players are saying) maybe DS is disconnected and doesn't see what Letang is doing in that regard. hearing this I'm not surprised how bad pp is and how teams compete is. Its 45 min compete just like practice length. That explains our 3rd periods lately.

I would think with the attendance the last couple of years going up they should be able to afford getting rid of Letang this offseason. They basically have to he’s ruining the development of young stars, he’s ruining the performance of the team currently, and they won’t be able to get new quality players from the states or imports if word get outs how this guy treats young players and ruins them.

I talked to a person at Mondays game who seemed to have a lot of inside information and said don't look for Letang to go anywhere any time soon . Not sure what his connection was but he seem quite knowledgeable . I hope like hell he is wrong .
