Well we had the game well in control until those penalties. That Doucette call was absolute trash. MacDonell tho, idiot. Then he takes another idiotic one. Should be benched in the 3rd.

Gaudreau needed to save one of the 2. Neither bad but he just had too, especially when Oke is making some amazing ones.

Bang on. I came here to say basically the same thing. Reckless and stupid on Angus’s part. That will be one of the reasons we may not win this one. The power play is the other. It’s horrible. It’s been bad all year. It’s being cycled way too long. You just traded for a sharp shooter, use his shot. Not sure why Vilmanis isn’t being used on the first unit. This power play should be buzzing with talent, not this crap barely hoovering over 20%

Gaudreau just needs to make one of those saves at least. Inconsistency strikes again.

They simply didn't have it tonight. Especially the top guys. Completely disjointed. It happens.

Thought Fischer was awesome. He just keeps getting better. Kid has some serious upside. Young was solid, but i didnt like moving him to PP1. It had zero chemistry. Why not Daviault??? Way was our best F by a lot.

Safe to say, they missed Ritchie. His ability to move it & skate with it. PP was a disaster with him not on it too.

Buzzy showed how much smarter he is than me, because u saw exactly what he meant tonight. They dearly missed Burke's tenacious-ness & ability to get to the net on L1. Kept to the outside all game.

Unfortunate & frustrating because Saginaw honestly looked terrible tonight. If we just played our B game I think we would've won. Tough one tomorrow in Flint for their teddy bear toss.

Letang post-game seemed really proud of the group. Almost sounded like some guys might be fighting thru some stuff (because why not)

Said he thought they looked tired & sore. Clearly very disappointed in the PP as 5on5 he was pleased with their effort.

Said all this adversity may be a good thing as long as they get healthy eventually. Gets to see how guys handle it & how they'll play if they face it at important times.

Didn't seem confident whatsoever about tomorrow, but said this group just finds ways to win or get at least a point so they'll do it again. Really liked what he had to say & how he said it. Been very happy with the coaching staff this year.

Update on Mast. Broken jaw. Unreal luck as it happened on a clearing attempt. Christmas break can't come soon enough for the backend.

Another game where the opposing teams goalie makes the saves and ours doesn't. No real soft goals but according to everyone he's suppose to be the best goalie in the league. Goaltending is a big problem for this team going forward... and in my opinion it needs to be addressed sooner than later. Also, another dud on home ice. If ur gonna lose on home ice thats fine but at least make it kind of competitive. Misa is going to be a big problem for Sarnia and the entire league for the next few years. It's amazing how good he is at such a young age.

Ben's been good for a bit here. As u guys said I didn't think any goal sucked just needed one. It is tough when u go pretty much an entire period without a shot & then face a full 5on3.

U can see teams are really honing in on our young D. Being super aggressive on the forecheck. It's showing too as our transition game just isn't there these last 2 nights.

If you wondered how much Ritchie meant to this team you've been seeing it, too. His skating & puck moving is so so so badly missed. Thank god he's back next game.

Gotta be a lot more disciplined too. These high-sticking, boarding penalties are getting tiresome & with so many veteran D out our PK is starting to struggle.

Think it's safe to say this will be the most shots we allow this yr. 20 already.

Seriously questioning Gaudreau as our starting goalie for this run. Let's in way too many weak goals

MacDonell is so fearless. Piercey legitimately has close to a foot on him & he did well in that fight. Blindsiding continues to be such a frustrating rule. 0 consistency to it.
