Hoping some new linemates bring out some more offence in Wainwright. If he can get going, consistently produce, and play in the top 9, it makes us more dangerous.

Damn, that was the best first period of hockey I’ve seen from this team. Guess the boys got the coaches message at practice this week. Like the make up of the new lines.

regardless of the score that’s how you will go deep into the playoffs. Coaches finally got the lines right, players clicked, played like a team, no lay back once the score was up there , goalie stood like a brick wall.
well done by all, takes a team effort to win or loose, idk what kinda bag skate practices they had this week but it worked, they totally bought into what the coach was selling, came out of the gate pedal to the metal and never let up. Hopefully they can carry that momentum into this weekend

Great team win tonight. Their needs to be no letup on Friday in London or the rest of the weekend. You don't win playoff series by playing a good game then a bad game and repeating that cycle. Need to see this effort level consistently

Well we wanted a response & we sure got one! One of their best, most detailed games this season. THAT is their identity. relentless, in your face, no time to breathe, smothering hockey. just wave after wave coming at you. Could tell form the opening minute they were gonna win this one. The lines & pairs just meshed so well it seemed. Another explosive night where 22 somehow doesnt get a point lol. Poor kid.

Burke & Voit were on it right from the get go. Filak is the perfect Hyman/Bunting type to put with them. Let them dance & be fancy & he'll go to the net, win battles & create space. @SarniaStingFan wanted a Wainwright game & he got it! He was outstanding. Such a fan of his. Always gives 110%.

Putting DBB w/12&15 was smart. Two burners pushes the D back a bit for the more methodical DBB & when he gets space he capitalizes. Hopefully, that line can be a constant. if it is that could be HUGE for this team. Be 3 good, scoring lines w/96-86-11 & 36-93-22 as the T6. Also, ho-hum another 3 PT night for Pastujov who scored a nasty, nasty goal. He's ridiculous

Del Mastro & Mast were silly good. +10 on the night. Not sure GUE got more than 3 shots with them on the ice. Kyrou was making them look silly all game. Fischer's confidence really seems to be growing. starting to carry it up & makes guys miss more. Playing with an edge, too. 18&74 reliable as always.

Sucks Gaudreau couldn't get a shutout. Unfortunate bounce for their goal. Wasn't tested much but did make a handful of good ones. He had the biggest smile on his face when he saw Romeo was taking the PS. Was a funny moment.

Now some big ones! Friday on TSN @ red hot London before returning home in front of a sell out to play LDN again.. Time to see just where this team is at.

This game was over pretty quick..... no complaints the guys played well. Home and Home vs London this weekend.... Biggest set of games the Sting have played in a long time. Especially the home game Saturday. The Hive is already sold out. No regular season game is ever a must win but damn that one is close to it. A 2-0 set vs London would sent this team to the moon.

That's about as close to a full 60 of hockey you'll see. Refreshing to see them BRING to energy right from the get go. Slow starts have been a weakness but I'm betting that was addressed quite heavily this week at practice lol.

Zero passengers out there last night. Everyone involved. Fischer really deserves some props...had him mixed up with Kyrou a few times watching the online feed...not a bad thing lol. His confidence has grown a lot recently. He's got some untapped skill/potential that's going to work out really well for this team down the road.

Two MASSIVE games with London on tap. I'm finally getting to see a few games live! I'll be at the game in London Friday and coming down for the Saturday game in Sarnia too. I also hate using the term "must win" but I agree @davewheeler , it sure as hell feels like they are. At the very least, they need to split them. We all know how Sarnia and sold out crowds go....but hey! positive thinking!! lol

Definitely gotta be the most anticipated set of regular season games in a long while for us lol. The games will likely be a lot like the OTT games.

I've been watching LDN & they make no mistakes. Great goaltending & their passing is elite. Gonna have to be patient, smart & disciplined.

Aiming for a split, but why not Win both & make it a statement weekend, boys.

Man, I don't think I've been this pumped up for hockey since that 2nd round series vs KIT in 2017/2018. Trying not to have any expectations other then some good, entertaining hockey. Home and home vs the Knights, sold out arenas, national tv tonight....what a stage to play on boys, go get it!

try not to get too excited, seems like when we get to excited with this team they find a way to completely let us down. I always have low expectations now lol.

I predict Sarnia with a win tonight and London returns the favor tomorrow, so a split for the visiting teams. And we all know how most predictions turn out!!!

Historically London lays an egg when televised Nationally during regular season. The flow gets broken too often and Hunter rides his main horses because of the commercial breaks. Hope it doesnt happen tonight.
