Something from presser really doesn't sit well with me, he Letang said it's the little details the D boxing out or getting to sticks late in front blocking shots etc. Pretty much has had 30 plus games to coach that... really, he was a D but couldn't recognize that before last nights press conference to work on that in practice or show video etc? And Haley was the issue? probably had his hands tied.
as time goes more and more I notice, Letang is so a fake coach. Very good talker good resume and delivers speeches when need to but delivery of actually coaching tacics a d direction clearly lacks. Says what needs to be done but doesn't address it with Players and actually correct it? In game decisions lack as well as his lineup decisions, his constant juggling of line affected total team chemistry or really delayed it.
Now with beamish and wainwright being good at draws/ defensive stable and better than Di iorio I'm sure wainwright is the one on the move come deadline. With how this coach develops I think Dylan needs to move him to make room for Di iorio in middle.
I do honestly think Letang is let go before Christmas break(don't think Legwand can afford to wait and DS is forced to fire his buddy and jefferies or jefferies stays to see if its letang is the total problem and telling jefferies what to do or if it's really jefferies killing the pp this could affect next year's team at this point.)
It's really becoming laughable in the league this staffs inability to recognize areas that need attention.
Teams come in and know their pp is going to work with Sarnias lack of adjustments on PK and lack of pressure.
Just think staff and some key players will be gone by deadline. At this point I'd welcome any changes. The team might have played better last night but still not even close to how they played in beginning of season so I view that as a Coaching REGRESSION and bright red flag!!
🤞🤞🙏
HOPE DS does what he can to essentially save his job and find a new direction for this group, which is badly needed.

Trade deadline assets

Wainwright(very good value)
Doucette(OA tough to move)
surzycia (very valuable to team going for it can have a top back up option or a type of #1 Goalie #1A Goalie)
Young (good value)
Johnston(played for london Value)
Omeri(decent upside)
Moses(value in role pk etc)
Karimov(unless new staff( DS needs to take off his Rose coloured glasses) coach needs plays him to see what have or stop him from staying home)

I'm still sad for the boys this season has been let to happen. Direction is #1 problem and we should be so further along.

Was just reading the article about last night's game. Letang says these close games are good for the young guys to learn for the playoffs. Someone needs to tell Letang that we need to make the playoffs first and as of last night we're no longer in a playoff spot. Also Andersen sent to the Legionaires and Johnston was a healthy scratch and still no update on Kostuch.

I was also looking at last year's standings. There's a good chance we finish worse then last year. We had 25 wins last year we have 8 through 32 this year. Which means we literally half to win half are games from here on out just to tie that. At this point I think we'll be lucky just to get to 20. IMO we probably finish with 15-18 wins.

Di Iorio back Friday.
Andersen sent to the Legionnaires.
Chamberlain still out indefinitely.

Like the decision to send Andersen down.

They have a pretty each choice to make of who to put Di Iorio with & that's Karimov. Whether it's Johnston or Luecke on the other side idk, but be pretty stupid to split up 23/40/11 or 15/10/24. Last night was easily the best 81/12/25 looked too.

I don't hate these lines ... I would like to see Karimov on line 2 with Wainwright.

Trust me. So would I. I wanna see Edwards off Wainwright's line & have since the moment it formed. Those 2 don't mesh well. At all. It's one guy who goes 100mph & one who's methodical & slower paced. I'd like

Karimov-Wainwright-Doucette
Edwards-Di Iorio-Johnston
Franceschetti-Hall-Moses

Don't love putting the 2 rooks together or having them w/37, but 81 doesn't fit with 12 & I don't want 17 at wing.

But we know Karimov won't be given a T6 spot even tho when he has he's done well. And they seem determined to make 81/12 work.
