Not much else to say with Karimov. Just preparing for him to bail in 2 weeks & I won't blame him whatsoever.
I haven't seen a player be this under utilized/mistreated (on the ice)/shunned like this in quite a awhile with the Sting.
It's a shame. It really is.

Got confirmation that it was Legwand that stepped in on the Haley firing. And he's told Seca that if nothing changes to pretty much clean house.
Karimov was never given a chance to do anything...Unless Kamirov is a complete and utter moron at practise or in the locker room there is no reason why he should be continually buried like this... You're buying him for guys that haven't done anything all year... I've seen Karimov mocked in the 2nd round... theres no doubt his stock has taken a massive hit... who would want to come play for Letang and Sarnia after seeing that. Joke.
Hey Jamer... curious but didn't you name use to be something else? .... Also when you say clean house does that include Seca ? .... There is two ways this will go... either they show some urgency or they completely pack it in.... Letang is a baffling coach... his coaching future is on the line and he refuses to give karimov any sort of shot... what he got to lose at this point?

Not a bad period. Super unlucky goal against. Now Brown can't stop scoring lol. Nice to see.
15-10-24 have been playing good hockey. Shouldn't be L3. Should be L4, but still very physical & energetic trio.

Sorry for this nothing post but every time I read the title of your board i chuckle.
The Edwards-Wainwright-Doucette combo looked much better that period. Wainwright and Doucette were using their speed to get into the zone and then Edwards was doing a good job of being that second layer and getting some chances

Kukumberg left at Christmas now karimov. He handles 0uck to kich but you cant blame him playing 8 mins a game and min PP.
If legeard telling Seca clean house I'm guessing clean house is coming in je year as neither jefferies or Letang will be able to change.

Another solid period. Sucks Wainwright's absolute snipe got taken away. Great to see Beamish rewarded! He's been awesome tonight
Man the reffing stinks in this league..some of these penalties are so goddamn soft.

I can at least reason with Kukumberg. He lacked good skill & finishing.
Karimov is significantly better & a yr younger. It's utter stupidity how he's being handled.
Hall & Omeri on PP2 over him....... Hall and Omeri......
That breakaway stop by Surzycia on Konyen was huge. That's the type of stop a struggling team needs when they're down on their luck. That was a beauty tip for Beamish's first OHL goal. The little details of his game are so good. I want to see them tighten up their defence in the opening minutes of the third. They haven't come out very well in the first two periods. Big chance to get a win here!
Well could have predicted the same issues.
Pk sucks still hasn't changed.we give up goals late in periods. The pp is still same as all year? Notice how much down low flints pp is ans how much room the get? We have bad system on pp and pk.
Same guys in shootouts. There was a dynamic player hungry to score Karimov on bench never a thought by Letang to give him a chance, just a shame.i hope we kinda lose the next 2 just because I'm hoping there is coach change beside Haley, clearly wasn't him.
Plus owen sound wins tonight puts us further down in chance for playoffs.
Looks like rebuild is a 4 year rebuild lol
I'm sure few guys will come on here saying how much better we played... blahs blahs blah. I see same team just few lines staying together for once show little more. Man the Buzz are flat out awful at the end of periods.... This has gotta be the 4th time they have gagged a win away in the last minute... I didn't actually watch this game but im going thru the box score and I am baffled that Fischer was the second shooter in the shootout. Doucette and Wainwright I get it but why the hell would you toss a slow D man second in the shootout..Then you toss beamish over Brown.... then Filak over Brown. Brown has a G in 3 straight and he gets rewarded with not being in the shootout. If I was a player on the buzz I'd wanna blow my brains out.... Letangs love for Beamish and hate for Karimov is beyond nuts. I understand he scored 2 goals today but hes dont nothing to be on line 1. Letang hates guys who score goals so now maybe Beamish will be on line 4. Letang reminds me of a guy who thinks he's the smartest person in the room when in fact he's the dumbest. I can't wait till hes coaching Jr.C in Mooretown or something.... Next game I'm at and I see Legwand I may tell him to fire Letang lol

Not even sure what to say at this point. This was easily their best effort in over a month. They controlled most of that game. They were very physical & actually pushed Flint around at times which we haven't seen at all this yr.
Top line was on fire. 3rd line was a wrecking crew. 2nd line finally had some chemistry. Whenever Karimov played he made plays.. Defensively still shaky but much cleaner in front of their own net than they've been..
Hate to say it, but Surzycia was not great tonight. couple big saves, but I hated those 2 5 hole goals & the tying goal looked stoppable. Typical we finally play well & the guy who is the guy who's kept us in most nights struggles.
Thats a dagger to a team who finally put together a strong game. As Dave said 3rd or 4th time they've allowed a brutal late game tying goal & then lost in OT/SO. In 31 games. It wasn't a PPG but what a goddamn joke of a penalty call on Bodin late. I cant fricken stand OHL officiating. SO bad. So fricken bad.

No Brown in the shootout is pure idiocy. Only guy who's hot on the team & we use a Dman 2nd & Filak/Doucette/Beamish over him. Karimov didn't see a shift final 10 mins or in OT or in SO. Only used Young & Fischer in OT too. Both guys were absolutely exhausted. ZERO reason Bridgewater shouldn't be used. He's an elite skater. It's something he'd thrive in.
Omeri & Hall on the PP2 over Karimov. Straight up comical.
I cant wait for this Christmas break.

Not sure how Friday isn't it for Letang.
8 straight losses. Today vs Flint who's bad. Last week vs PBO & OTT who are bad.
Owen sound is bad & without their elite starting G.
If u lose that to make it 9 & fall to 9th with OS having GIH (games in hand) I don't know how they don't do it.
Then u go to SSM where it's always tough to win then u have KIT & LDN.
I'm at a total loss frankly. I truly didn't foresee the season playing out like this & I'm usually pretty good at predicting how Sting seasons will go. Not other things, but usually good at that haha.

Watched the Letang presser. He sounds absolutely defeated. Wow. Got asked about the Haley firing and said it's above his pay grade & to ask Dylan.
He liked their play tonight as did I. Find it funny he praised Bridgewater for his growth yet he still can't get a shot on PP2 or in OT.
Unfortunately didn't sound to encouraging with Kostuch. He said he's home now, but still had further testing to do. Made it seem like they might be releasing a statement soon about him. Hope it isn't worst case scenario.

This team is terrible at closing out games. That's the third time this year that we've given up a game-tying or game-winning goal in the final minute of the third period. (The other two instances were vs. Saginaw and at Niagara). I find that the forwards do a good job at blocking shots up top. Filak blocked one tonight and then dove to get a clear on the late PK. Their d-men are often the problem because they don't box out well and don't tie up sticks in front of their net allowing for goals off deflections like the tying goal. All the late game situations are bad. The team is 3-7 in OT/SO. Weird personnel decisions like Brown not shooting in the SO tonight have cost this team so many games.
On the positive side, I thought the top line was excellent. They combined for three goals and drew three PPs. Beamish was excellent scoring his first two OHL goals, had a few other good chances in the third, and went 21/28 on draws. So glad to see Brown getting rewarded for all his hard work. That line works so well together on the forecheck and on the cycle.
Team defence looked better with Fischer & Young in the lineup. Hurt looked a lot more settled in his regular role. Had an assist and was a +3. I would agree that Surzycia would like a few of the goals back. Teams have been picking on his five hole lately. That's something that the goalie coaches need to point out to him.
Overall, they're 2-15-3 in their last 20 games. Last regulation win was almost a month and a half ago. Two seperate losing streaks of 6+ games. Not sitting in a playoff spot anymore. If they don't win another game before the break (which feels very possible) I would guess that Letang is gone
