Despite his lack of draft pedigree, I'm going Pohlkamp until he wins. The drumbeat of insiders + his pro athlete aka linebacker frame + moving to DU where he'll probably get top minutes next to Buium + yes, the fun and exciting BS summer prospect game makes me excited about the kid.

He may end up no better than Simek but I'm more excited/optimistic about him than higher pedigree guys like Havelid and LSW.

Pohlkamp looked good in the prospect scrimmage game, but I haven't seen anything outside of that which would lead me to pick him over Havelid or Wallenius.

Havelid has some injury concerns but from a raw talent standpoint he's easily my pick here as well.

As (apparently) the resident Pohlkamp fanboy, he had 3 points in 7 games playing tough defensive minutes for a gold medal winning US WJC U20 team, which was unexpected. And 24pts in 32 games as a freshman for Bemidji State, who wasn't exactly burning any barns out there. We'll be able to compare his D+2 season to Older Bro Shai Buium's last two D+2/3 seasons somewhat comparably this year.

Havelid doesn't appear to have progressed at all since being drafted. I'm not sure he even gets an ELC tbh. Smells like one last DWJr. pick on his way out.
