Something subtle that they mentioned on the post-game for Sammy.

When the Leafs went on the road trip without him, he spent most of the time with his wife & 10-month old son. And recently his dad came over from Russia to spend time with him. His English isn't great so probably something as simple as another person to talk to in Russian helped him relax.

Reminds me of Fred Van Vleet in the Raptors 2019 playoffs. He was awful in the first 3 rounds. His son was born between game 5 and 6 of the East Finals, then he was amazing in the finals.

PP a big failure again. Luckily PK came through, I think we can thank Sammy for that.

Dunno what Timmy was doing out there tonight, he had a rough one.

After a terrible first, I thought the team was much better in the 2nd and 3rd. Still doing their perimeter thing for the most part. They just don't get it.

Robertson had himself a helluva game, good for the kid. Hopefully he can keep that kind of play going!

Samsonov was fantastic... is he back or is this a blip? Guess we'll see come Saturday.

I don't know if either team deserved to win that one, but sure glad we did!
We can also thank Mike van Ryn

All this talk of Boucher taking over from Coach Koala., when Van Ryn is staring us right in the face.

Jets fans will be even more upset when they lose again on Saturday, Too many injuries (now Morrissey as well) and not enough scoring.

Nice outcome. Yes Winny was missing their best D, best forward, and was playing their backup so not quite time to plan the parade but its a shoutout win from your strugglimg backup. Not a garbage win and not a punk opponent. I am tired of valiant losses so lets keep it going.

When you dominate and lose, it definitely feels worse. But I would be surprised if the Leafs win, they definitely didn't look great tonight.

I don't see a Jets team that is any more dangerous than last season. I think they just went on a nice winning streak. Now it's over AND they have some pretty key injuries. No shame in suffering a few losses when that is the case. They are a lock for the playoffs at this point, so I don't see a lot of pressure on them to rush anyone back, especially right before the all-star break. They are likely going to be without their top centre and top defenseman on Saturday. Hard to win under those circumstances.

The Jets absolutely dominated the game, so unless the Leafs play way better and the jets play worse, the jets should win. Of course nobody knows.

But I wouldn't say the Leafs looked good at all.
