When I think of the MSG crew, I like just about everyone (even though I'll gladly poke fun at Chico, Trautwig and Cangialosi) except Bill Pidto. Something about that guy....

He seems like the kind of guy that would have a nice young lady tied up in his basement or something.

Espo had a hard time censoring himself w/Sam. I remember Espo being very critical of ranger players especially Reijo. Who he claimed took too long of shifts. Talk about the kettle....

I want an announcer that will criticize players when they deserve it. Now, the announcers make believe that every bad play by a Ranger is a good play by the other team instead. Espo's problem was he changed his mind every 5 minutes. I certainly preferred him to Davidson who never shut his XXL trap blathering on about everything but the game in front of him. He ruined a good announcer in Sam Rosen who continues to do it out of habit.

Sam is great at what he does and a really nice guy to boot. Sam and espo were fun because you can tell Sam was worried that espo was crossing the company line a lot ..
