Maybe too good for a NBA court. He might've been even better if he had been a bit more nasty.
His legacy is that he was a likable guy who played an honest game. A decent man is how I remember his playing days. A force on the court!

Very sad. I didn't realize he had brain cancer.
The upward trajectory Monty has shown since being claimed is nothing short of impressive. He is now just hitting his prime.

What a game from Sam the man, he can! The laffs cound't get one pass him and as the great Dick Irvin would say, beat Tom and Bill, the post brothers. Gotta love Dick and it would not surprise that many here love Dick too, some probably more than others.

The poise and confidence in his game to start the season is impressive.

I didn't expect this of him when we got him but he has been fantastic. Very happy for him. Has to mean alot playing at home

It's a small sample but still makes me laugh that people were saying goaltending was a problem going into the season. Monty has been good for 2 years now he may be very good.
Since 22-23 up to now Monty is 34-34-12 on a bottom 5 team.
