Sam Bennett VS Mitch Marner Head To Head Stats In Playoffs

Bennett would never get away with those d-bag plays that give him space if he played for the Leafs. A Leaf would have gotten multiple games for any one of those elbows to the head. He wouldn't be as effective as a Leaf.

This is such nonsense.

The Leafs aren't penalized more than another team and the suspensions they have received are well deserved.

Conversely, nobody "gets away" with more stuff against the Leafs, this is just the usual victim act that is popular among a small contingent of the fanbase.

He literally took the Leafs' starting goaltender out early in the series with an intentional elbow to the head now confirmed to be a concussion. Kadri would have gotten 400 games for that. Sorry, I've watched long enough to know there's a double standard at the DoPS wrt the Leafs (and actually other Canadian teams) and teams in emerging markets. That's one of the reasons the Leafs play soft. They need to walk on eggshells whereas (some) other teams get carte blanche.

I am legitimately embarrassed for you.

Sorry, but Bennet is a left shot player. He’s right elbow was tucked in its normal position for a guy who shoots that side. The contact was minimal and the natural consequence in that circumstance.

Even Stolarz himself had no issue with it.

The notion that that would be a suspendible offence is embarrassing.

LOL, look at the 5 second mark of this video and tell me it wasn't intentional. You people are hilarious.

Reinhart took Stolarz out with that wrister off that dome

You don’t have a video of him saying he did it intentionally actually, so you are incorrect

I don't have video proof of Matt Cooke saying he intentionally severed Eric Karlsson's Achilles tendon either but I'm not an idiot and saw it with my own eyes. I don't have video evidence of Claude Lemieux saying he intentionally hit Kris Draper from behind into the boards breaking his jaw but I'm not an idiot and saw it with my own eyes. Do you have eyes or is there something else at play here?

Marner is the 2nd or 3rd most important player to the leafs whereas Bennett is behind Barkov, Tkachuk, Forsling, Reinhart, Bob and maybe Seth Jones and Verhaeghe (sp). Not a guy I’d bet on in his 30s

What you said explains more why the Panthers are in their third straight SCF and the Leafs still can't get to an ECF, rather than why Marner is way more important in the playoffs lol.

It was literally less dirty than what Kadri did to Binnington, which he did not receive a suspension for. Swing and a miss

I get that you’re upset about losing but that doesn’t justify your baseless opinion

All those other incidents don’t have any bearing on what happened with Stolarz. Again, Bennett shoots left. His right elbow was in the natural position. Stolarz just took a puck to the head a few moments prior.
