It’s the 3rd of June, another sleepy dusty Delta day, I was chopping cotton, my brother balin hay. At dinner, My mother told us she got some news today, the Stanley Final’s still an another day away.

Back in June of 67 Billy Joe, a longtime Leafs fan, knew something was up….

You're not serious lol drai is a way better better player than Mathews. Drai succeeds nonatter who he plays with and even puts up more points without McDavid in lineup. He was won an mvp and scoring title. Drai is best passer in league and scores plus his defense has been top notch last few years. It really isn't close. Drai is just a way better player than Mathews and he is mcdavid's best friend
 
Should be a best of 3 just to keep some form of interest in this final. This series could be a ratings disaster and if it’s quick and either team goes up 3-0 there won’t 100,000 people watching.

I will never forget Bobby Orr flying through the air and scoring the OT winning goal to win the Stanley Cup. It was on May 10th and it was an afternoon game. Problem now is the NHL/TV want to play more games after the Super Bowl because that is when the get the most viewers in the US. Hence why they start the season in early October instead of 2 or 3 weeks earlier in September.

Yep, I'd rather have the Cup remain south of our border than have the Oilers win a cup with McDavid. He is a Toronto kid that should be playing anywhere else but Edmonton.

Edmonton was already gifted many cups with Gretzky. Enough of that BS.

The Panthers need to add a couple more fans, they need to win in it all again !!! Right Gary?

Gimme a break... Florida should be enemy number one to all Leafs fans.

Followed by Tampa, Boston, Ottawa, Montreal, Detroit, Buffalo and then every team in the Metro. Edmonton should be faaaaaaar down on the list of teams a Leafs fan should hate. And if this is because some mean Oilers fans hurt your feelings saying some bad things about the Leafs and their fans I would suggest taking the high road and be the mature person.

Being a sports fan isn't much fun if you only have skin as thick as an onion.

A lot of Leafs chatter and hate in the HFOil OTT.

For a fanbase that makes funs of us being the centre of the universe, they sure love talking about us.

Dummies....your team is in the finals yet you are wasting keyboard strokes on the Leafs.

Those strokes could be used elsewhere to ease some tension.

The day that other Canadian based fan bases show any amount of respect, and maybe even some support, for our Leafs, will be the day I might begin to cheer for their teams when our Leafs are out of the playoffs !!!

All of the other Canadian fan bases have hated our Leafs, and MOCKED and RIDICULED our support of our Leafs team for decades.

I live in Ottawa, so I've been exposed to this HATRED all my life. I have had FAMILY, FRIENDS, and especially COWORKERS that abused me on a daily basis for my love of our Leafs. I have traveled to Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver, and was exposed to this HATRED of our Leafs first hand. Sure, some of it was done in jest, but mostly they really meant what they were saying !!!

So, gimme a break too !!!

I also think yet another cup for Florida keeps the spotlight on the local tax issue and contracts while they negotiates the next CBA. It becomes much harder to ignore or dismiss

this is so, so wrong. Drai has never outscored Matthews in a year that they were both healthy. Matthews also has an mvp and two scoring titles.

Matthews put up a nearly identical scoring pace playing with Domi and Bertuzzi as he did with Marner last season.

He scored 40 goals as a rookie playing with two other rookie wingers for most of the year (Brown and Hyman).

I could understand your reasoning if this was the first season of hockey you'd ever watched, I guess.
