Amazing from Panarin (duh).
Igor with an excellent performance.
Great defense from Trouba.
How did they retrofit MSG so quickly to look like the Bolts’ arena?
Yes those three were great and to think they had to carry that piece of shit Trocheck !

I was insinuating that this current roster has one and two thirds of a top 6... everything else is 4th liners/ahlers.

Wheeler is in our top 6 for Christ's sake.

Wheeler can still play! He just needed time to adjust to a new conference after being in the peg. Hell be a third liner by the playoffs

Maybe they take possession stats into account too.
Perhaps there's something, but I'm inclined to believe this particular result was simply in error.

Even if you want to throw score out the window and argue we did nothing the last 40 minutes, it still couldn't have been that lopsided.

Wherever the keg is!
Yes, considering that Kreider has more goals facing elimination than Wayne Gretzky, Alex Ovechkin, and Mario Lemieux, I'm choosing to excuse the games he didn't score in. Thanks for asking.

Neither of the 3 played as many Game 7s. We played one last post-season.

Regular season is fine and dandy, we are still 0-2 against them since '15.

I guess we hope that Chytil still has an NHL career ahead of him. Losing him for the season would suck.

There was a time people thought Crosby would never play again due to concussions Mika had concerning head/neck injuries too. I hope some time away helps Chytil. Young players can get through injury issues like this. Hell a difference maker when he comes back

People have thrown out many times before that Kreider's goal total in elimination games is excess of opportunity and that's simply false.

His 29 such games is tied for 18th all-time. He's tied for first in goals. His performance is actually entirely disproportionate to the opportunity.

Ovechkin has been in 28 such games. Kreider has he and Gretzky beat in goals per game.

Concussions and recovery aren’t standard or linear so no one has any real inside info on whether chytil will recover or not. He could wake up tomorrow and feel great and that could be the “end” of this one
Or it could linger indefintely

It’s of course concerning it hasn’t cleared up and the rangers can’t bank on him getting better this season IMO but no one knows for sure how it’ll end up right now
