An adult must manage letting in goals. NHL is garbage when coming to pampering goalies and fights after a hit.

Say it with me class. There’s no elite goalies anymore. Shesterkin and Swayman aren’t elite like the standards of the old days. Sw8yman is just another dope who played over his head for a little time.
Differens game today, put Brodeur in todays game he would let in goals as well.

Agreed. Pretty lame move by Frederic fighting a total non fighter. Not to mention throwing after ko'ing the guy.

What I dont get is Lowry challenging Zadorov after. If you want to send a message that what Frederic did was unacceptable, he should have destroyed Pastrnak.
I agree 100%
They do meet up again on Jan 31st

Good teams make goalies "elite" and not the other way around. Crazy how fast Sway and Ullmark went from the Jennings to the two most overrated and overpaid goalies in the league.

Goalies aren’t what they used to be. That’s why any fan who advocates for 8 year contracts for goalies needs a reality check.

And why any goalie who expects to be paid like top skaters need one too. Good luck Rangers. Sure Bob won a Cup but that was a few years removed from many fans labeling him the worst contract in the league. I bet a lot of goalies could have won the Cup with Florida last year if they'd had the chance.

Not to diminish his play in recent years because he's been great, all I'm saying is you don't need an $8-12 million goalie to win a Cup.

Sacco did indeed cross the line. Swayman stormed to the room and demanded a match versus Sacco at the next UFC event. If Sacco loses he has to play goal and stay in for at least 9 against.

Swayman has never been anything more than an elite backup for a longer stretch.

He's finding out now that it's easier to be an backup than a starter, when you face all the tough teams and your backup gets the bottom-feeders.

Swayman had 2 shutouts last season, guess against who? Sharks and Blackhawks.

Lowry was interviewed after the game and of course the press was all over the fight sequence. Lowry said that the Jets needed to respond and he appreciated that Zads took the fight. Same thing when Arniel was asked about it he downplayed it all and said the Jets stuck up for Gus and once the fights happened it was over, end of story.

It honestly baffles me more that the Bruins weren’t able to figure out both Ullmark and Swayman were propped up by strong Bruins teams. I get you don’t want to get stuck with no goalie, but I certainly would’ve moved away from both the moment they started talking top 5-10 money.

I watched the whole game and the fact is it was 3-1 Jets after two. In their previous game, the Bruins erased a similar deficit against Philadelphia. If the game had gotten out of hand in the second, perhaps the hook would have come, but in the third, forget it. Why risk something happening to Korpisalo, who's been one of Boston's most solid players so far this season?
