Swayman did what he was told to do, play in goal. The team responded by fighting like a mofo after the score went crazy. That tells me what I need to know about them. Yeah, they lost but they're a -team- that lost. No individuals on that train.
No one in that locker room is looking bad on Sway for jack except maybe Sway and if that's the case, then that's a good thing. And maybe that's why he was left in. Maybe the coach wanted to see if the guys would fight for him and he damn well got his answer.

It was 3-1 after 2. No point pulling in your backup when it got out of hand in the 3rd for 15 to 5 minutes.

bruins management showed themselves slipping in the offseason with the public airing of grievances with swayman and suggesting he was holding out for camp despite not having a contract and being a free agent. So I’m not surprised they fired a good coach and replaced him with a joke

I always used to say to the goalies on my team - if I had a bad game as a defenceman I still have to go out there and get hit and block shots. Why do you get to stop playing when you suck?
Swayman hardly gave any effort after around the 4th goal. No reason to pull him... game was over and players were ready to move on with the road trip.
Swayman has been horrendous and really looks poor with all the talk during negotiations in the media.
