No one is more pissed off and dismayed with the Sabres organization, roster and performance than i am. Many have just moved on. Good for them. Come back when it finally turns around.

In the meantime, I'm gonna complain and bitch and moan and rant because I'm sticking with these bums because I have too much invested in this franchise emotionally. 1970 folks. 1970! And the Bison's before then.

Not great for my mental health but it's my efing mental health so just look after your own.

Almost forgot.... two positives for me from last nights game was the return of Rasmus Dahlin. He showed me that he is head and shoulders over very other talent the Sabres have on the team. He's not mistake free but he plays with confidence and is a threat to the opposition.

Power pisses me off regularly but I was impressed with his offensive play yesterday. He's definitely been told to be more active offensively. That's a positive take away and meaningful when there are so few.

UPL was terrible last night. But we know he's turned the corner and is a competent goaltender. Everyone shits the bed once in a while. But he's shown me that he's a reliable starter.

So I guess I don't agree with the zero.zero rating given earlier in this thread to the Sabres talent. They have fewer credible assets than we believed going into this season. But they do have a solid core to build around. Small as it is.

On the plus side: you don’t remember the Buffalo Majors.

Agreed, I saw some drive, edge and compete to his game against Toronto.

I hope Dahlin's back doesn't become Eichel's neck with a big kerfuffle about treatment.

Also, Reimer is interesting because I thought after the Leafs game Ruff said UPL played okay, was hung out by his teammates and was going to start tonight.
edit...maybe not. I scrolled through the Twitter account of the person that usually has post game quotes and I didn't see that one from Ruff.....nevermind, I missed it the first time.

I want a loss because I want major changes. POHO, Terry to step back or sell and a GM. That only happens if they get embarrassed every game.

Maybe there’s some exception laid out in the rules but it sure looked like the guy that entered the crease of his own accord affected the goalie’s ability to save the puck
