The main reason I liked those jerseys is because of their association with the hard working tough to play against teams of the late 90's and that 05-06 team. Hard to picture Hasek in anything else for me.

I was coming of age and just understanding of hockey, probably 6 or 7 years old when my dad took me to my first Sabres game, this goat head Jersey was what they were wearing. I remember he asked me what jersey I wanted and I got a LaFontaine red goat head Jersey.

This is the Sabres team logo I know, I would love to see the red on it in Royal blue tho.
