He is also mentoring Kulich apparently. The Anderson effect ?So far, a quarter of the way through the season, Zucker is someone who they can drop on any line and help it get going. That's worth something.

Zucker seems to be constantly talking to a lot of the guys on the bench -- I've seen him and Benson involved in conversations as well.Yeah, Zucker and Kulich were having some conversations on the bench in a couple of the shots of the coaches yesterday. It was kinda cool.
Veteran leaders who are actually contributing on the ice certainly feel like their word will go a lot farther than a leader who is past their prime which is what we had last year.Zucker seems to be constantly talking to a lot of the guys on the bench -- I've seen him and Benson involved in conversations as well.
One of the things Zucker (and Lafferty) has said is that he felt like his brand of leadership was sorely needed in the Sabres locker room (or something to that effect). Sure looks like a good fit on the surface.

Yup. Only November but no matter what happens with Zucker and the org I'll definitely always cheer for him now.Or a "veteran" who was just using the team to fix his agent messing up UFA and then not showing up like Hall.
