Sabres score an own goal on a delayed penalty with an empty net.

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Pretty bizarre own goal. Usually they are on a mistimed drop pass. Don't think I've ever seen one scored from the o-zone like this before.

Doubly bizarre that the correct play was to turn the puck over as quickly as possible to go to 6 on 4.

Rob Ray was all of us. "GIVE THEM THE PUCK!!!!"

IIRC Hagelin couldn’t buy a goal that season and was still waiting for his first of the year when that happened.. insult to injury

That's a good one.

But has anyone seen one that bounced off the boards at center ice and went in too like this Sabres one?

Is Lindy the coach next season, they seem to have regressed
He is a fine coach, but the young guys dont respect him. They needed a good actually skilled vet to keep the young guys in line under Lindy. I have no evidence of this, but my guess is Dahlin isnt helping much there. Doesnt seem like captain material to me.

Dahlin is literally on the bottom of the list of issues with the organization. He is by far the guy who cares the most about this organization and also our best player by a mile.
