It is. I’d love to see a b&g iteration of the goathead. That blue seemed light (and the gold yellow), and when I put my finger over the logo, I saw STL sweaters

I agree with you my friend....it’s just that it looks even worse in blue and gold.

The original uniforms have never; and can never be bettered.
The only thing weak in the originals was the socks, which punch copied from The Leafs.
Correct the socks, stripes off of the pants, and you have damn near perfection...

I agree. However, I am a big fan of change and trying new things. That especially goes for team uniforms. There should be some constants like color (blue & gold) and primary logo, but try things out. Create a new 3rd or 4th jersey every year.
I definitely didn't like the red and black change, but having an AGH third jersey would have been fine with me. Not sure why the NHL stopped being creative. Maybe that should be, not sure why the NHL never got creative.
Change the shade of blue and gold if you want, create new secondary logos, whatever. Have fun!

I get the memories associated with the AGH (mostly the Hasek years), but man, it was an ugly jersey.
Redoing it in Blue/Gold is just as bad.
Just leave the jersey alone save for some tweaks for special occasions.

AGH was a sharp looking jersey that just happened to cut against the franchise heritage. If another team called itself the Buffalos (The Wisconsin Wisent?) and picked that jersey, we'd all be saying well done, guys.
The slug was a self-evident corporate groupthink nightmare that tried to turn an animal into a Nike swoosh because Nike makes a lot of money and then sell it to the rustbelt, who I think all collectively tightened their sphincters reflexively when they saw it leak into the newspaper, familiar as we are with what corporate groupthink types like to do to us.
