That Bratt goal right after the Nico hit was instrumental for keeping spirits high. I could feel that was Bratt pissed off and getting it out of Buffalo right away.

So what exactly is Nico’s issue? If it was a concussion, they couldn’t possibly have cleared him only to unclear him a period later?!

Concussions are not always clear cut. And without actually knowing I assume there is a spectrum which tapers down to levels that players often play through.

I think they should have kept him out after the hit, but better lat then never.

Timo with Jack 5v5 tonight was pretty brutal. 4-10 corsi. 1-6 shots. 0-2 goals.

And I think the thought is Timo does not need a playmaker. He is the play driver.

Holtz and McLeod are both good passers. Timo was terrible tonight with Hughes too.

And Hughes wasn’t anything special either tonight

Like I said the line was off today but other than that they have been solid since getting assembled

Haula was annoyed as Fk and I don't blame him.

He was probably just hurting and something was bothering him enough to take himself out of the game, if I had to guess.

Ruff just said in the Presser that they took him out for Precautionary measures.

Phew, I had to leave after the second period. Came back and loaded the game on ESPN+ after it was over in real time. Despite trying to avoid it, I saw the game length and assumed it had gone into OT. So when Cozens scored I figured that was it.

Then I was dreading the last couple minutes and was ready to throw something when Haula's stick broke on the empty net chance since I was expecting Buffalo to score the other way.

Guess I'm going to watch the replay but man, as much as we joke about it, it's tough seeing Nico get roughed up as much as he does. I do worry about the guy that way in general.

How did we do? Saw Vitek allowed 4 on 2.63 xGA. How was he?

Vitek's issue seems to be when people shoot from a little father out. Sometimes he barely moves, almost like he is flinching while the puck is flying by him. Blackwood used to do a shoulder shrug.

In close he seems to be much better.

It is one hame out of 4 so they deserve some more rope and maybe it was just a coincidence but Timo playing like shit when Jack isn’t carrying 90% of the weight doesn’t feel good considering he played like shit earlier too
