Not only does Johnson at least physically engage people in front of the net but his skating negates some of his mistakes. He shouldn’t be the one out of the lineup when Dahlin comes back IMO. There’s a lot to work with there and he’s a better fit for Lindy’s style than other options. He plays fast, he’s willingly physical, he moves the puck north he gets off the ice

I hate that when there is remote pressure in the neutral zone and they just chuck possession away because they can't trust their defense to not fumble the pass back and get stuck in their own zone

Washington is hellaciously aggressive on the forecheck in our zone......and their defense is very aggressive as well.

Sure seems like if we can get our speed going, we'll get a few odd man rushes and/or breakaways. Need to cash them when we get them.

I don’t really understand why Power grabbed his guy with his free hand on the penalty. He had already leaned on him which ensured it wasn’t a clean break, and the guy was coming in from an angle. Just trust your goalie to make a save there.

He isn't super strong so when he had the angle, speed and lowered his shoulder, Owen was cooked. I would have preferred any physical push as opposed to just grabbing his arm
