Everyone can see it but Adams. Our players are too dumb.Predators broadcast crew repeatedly mentioned how bad Buffalo is in their own zone. "They just can't play defense" was the refrain.

I am pretty sure it was his last goal... he frickin put his head down and was looking directly at the ice not watching the shot. Like he was looking to make save with his head.. he also shrunk up at same time ... the shot was far side and he wasn't close to it
The one where an unmarked guy inside the faceoff dot took a 1-timer off a pass and sniped top corner?
Not sure. I was watching Pred broadcast and I only saw replay and it was a closeup of Forsberg? and UPL only. And UPL had his head down before shot is even released
Which goal(s) do you think he should've stopped?
I don't think any of the 5 goals allowed were softies. Replace UPL with an NHL average goalie he probably gives up 4 or 5 goals in this game.
Some god awful defense from the Sabres tonight
Not that it matters, but did anybody see an actually conclusive shot of Krebs being offsides where it would be indisputable evidence to disallow a goal? I saw the still frame of his foot way over, but I never saw the puck. I saw this from reddit, you can see the tiny blur of the puck at the bottom of the screen, it must have been really close because his toe is still on the line here:View attachment 975008
Where is the puck? At this point in time it’s midair somewhere near the blue line but I can’t find it. I'm just going to assume it was obvious on the actual video replay that he was in before it crossed.
And still everyone talks as if he is. I wanted him on wing last season.Hasn’t played center in weeks

Yeah, I caught that dumb explanation as well....... just shook my head...It's so fitting that this sad joke of an organization has the single worst announcer in the entire sport of hockey calling its games. Dunleavy is just absolutely awful, he is so bad that listening on the radio (something I enjoy and loved when RJ was still around) is no longer an option. The guy who does the freaking Danbury Hat Tricks FPHL games on YouTube is better than a guy calling games for an alleged NHL team, it's embarrassing. The best example tonight was saying a play was offside and the face-off would be in the Sabres zone. Two problems with this:
1) It was clearly a hand pass by a Sabres player.
2) If it was offside the face-off would NOT have been in the Sabres zone.
Everything about this organization sucks.
This is as good an angle as I saw on the broadcast. The nearest linesman in the next frame is waving the play on sides. He was in the best position to make the call. But the puck was airborne. Doesn't that make any video evidence inconclusive? And, the scoring play was at least 45 seconds after wards. The review is on an iPad like device and I never saw the puck and Krebs toe in the same frame. Not that it matters, but did anybody see an actually conclusive shot of Krebs being offsides where it would be indisputable evidence to disallow a goal? The rule should be: it's only offside if the ref decides it's offside during the play. No reviews. In soccer there's a thing called a passive offside where a guy can be offside but if he isn't involved it the play it doesn't matter and the goal stands. Wish the NHL would come up with some sort of rule akin to that.
One thing that makes it harder playing goalie for the sabres is that you have to be prepared for passes to open guys as well as shots. It's one thing to position yourself and focus on the shooter, another to do that + trying to adjust to numerous other threats. He got beat clean on 3 of them where he didn't have to move all that much. They are high danger chances, but he really needs to get one of those. He was shrinking into his net making himself as small as possible tonight. The 2nd goal and 3rd goal were zero chance. Just felt like he didn't make a single tough save the entire game. Defense obviously needs to play better...
Ray trying to abuse dunleavy into a more manly call as he emulates rj is rough as Rob is the only Man in the building .It's so fitting that this sad joke of an organization has the single worst announcer in the entire sport of hockey calling its games. I wonder how much imprint the Granato years caused in this group and if you have to break them up and bring in more people who learned how to play defense in their formative NHL years.Predators broadcast crew repeatedly mentioned how bad Buffalo is in their own zone.
