I didn’t think the hit was all that bad in my opinion. You have a 3rd string D man in nurse that makes almost $10 million a year coming around the net with his head down looking at his skate laces.

If that was Matthews coming around the net like that and nurse had the opportunity to hit him, he would absolutely take it. I do not feel bad for him at all. 10 million a season, keep your head up.

I'm not sure what to say. I don't think Reeves is a monster, and I feel for Nurse who got hurt. Despite Damien Cox's twitter rants, butthurt Edmoncton Fubar Peeps, and the rest of the faint-of-heart; hockey is a contact sport. Sometimes Toronto players get hurt, and other times Toronto are the ones doing the hurting. Don't call it cruel. Just call it hockey.

What kind of response is this? Terrible take. It was a hit to the head. End of sentence. Makes no difference if it was Nurse or Ceci. Reaves intention means nothing. What Nurse may have done is baseless. If you think it was a legal hit, take off the blue tinted glasses.
