Assume Reaves had tough words in the post-game interview as well.

Rather weird thing to say after this one, lmaoParros’ grudge against the Leafs is the most transparent thing in the league
Life lesson: You can hate the act without hating the person.
Is it really a Leaf tax, though? Reaves had three priors, while Jeannot had none.
Naa the Oilers are out of spots for old, useless players. You’re defining him as a plug and that he wouldn’t be in the nhl if not for fighting…
I guess you don’t care that he hasn’t fought once this year and Berube still chooses to play him.
I didn’t expect much from him as a leafs fan and now I’m more often than not pleasantly surprised when he’s on with Lorentz and Kampf. Reaves actually contributes.
I don’t see him as a plug and if he is…he could fill a lot of holes on a lot of teams. Definitely on the oilers.
From my understanding, the 18 months applies just to the fines levied due to the suspension. They can and will look at prior historyI believe they only look at the last 18 months for repeat offender status, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Fair. 90 and 53 are taking up those spotsNaa the Oilers are out of spots for old, useless players.
quit doing dumb things and the media loving the leafs, then maybeThe woe is us, "everybody is against us" attitude by my fellow Leafs fans is really nauseating. You think somebody will give us sympathy or something? It makes us look so good, though. Please, keep it up. Jesus Christ.
The video from DOPS specified prior suspensions and fines as one of the factors in determining the length of the suspension.I believe they only look at the last 18 months for repeat offender status, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Perry has been good for us this year. It’s Ryan who is the old forgey holding us back. But also, if we drop Ryan our average drops significantly.Fair. 90 and 53 are taking up those spots
Yes because DoPS and murder trials are the exact same thing and should be treated the exact same way when meting out justiceOK, so you are spouting Leafs persecution venom...
"But judge, it's the first time I killed someone. Can't you just give me a fine ?"
He would never be in that position because it involves going below the hash marks in the defensive zone.Would we see Matthews take a hit like that though? It’s highly unlikely Matthews puts himself into that position. He would see Reeves because he’d have his head up and read the play.
Interesting, I had no ideaRepeate offender designation is only for/about how much money you lose as result of being suspended, anyway. Most people don't know this.
They can use your entire suspension history against you in determining the length of new suspension, doesn't matter if it was outside of the 18 months.

Selke votes from non-Toronto media?Yes, the center who is annualy getting Selke votes doesn't go deep in his own end...
I find the hit in principle very similar to the Jeanott hit and that got 3 games. Reaves is definitely suspension worthy for it and 5 is okay, but then why 3 for Tanner Jeanott?
