This might be Millers last year and what would we get in return for Miller maybe he wants to retire in Buffalo

Why? Would Miller want to retire in Buffalo, By all accounts he pretty much wanted out of Buffalo. And besides Buffalo isn't a playoff team this year. And Miller will want to go to a team that he can help win a cup and that's not Buffalo at least not this year.

Didn't he win a Vezina on a nearly above average Buffalo team?

They won the division the year Miller won the Vezina.

Not to mention he was the man during the Briere/Drury cup runs. He had just broken in and hadn't reached his peak yet, but he was better then Biron.

I loved Millsy when he was in Buffalo and I thought he got hung out to dry a lot by the Blues supposed-to-be-awesome D in the games I watched after he was traded.

But we just traded a 1st for Lehner who our ownership clearly has some commitment to and Nilsson is playing well in relief. If he wants to sign a 1 day contract to retire as a Sabre I'm all for it but I don't think we'd give up anything of actual value for him.

He wants to retire in Buffalo. Must be worse reason to make a trade.

Miller is playing well. If the Canucks are fortunate, the Canucks are out of the play race at TDL. A good goalie on a contender gets hurt such as Price or Lundqvist, the the Canucks get a good return.

If we didn't have a complete idiot running the bench I'd say Miller would be available. But alas we have a coach who still believes a 36 year old goaltender can play 3/4 games every week.
Only the third time he's gone out of lineup with "tightness" in his lower body
