This is the second infraction on him for faceoffs, he warned Perfetti at a faceoff , he was going to stick him, then sure enough he sticks him in the face on the draw, dumb POS.

Dirty player with history of suspensions.

That kind of deliberate non hockey play probably deserves 10. I suspect he gets 5.

Going by this logic, Auston Matthews has back issues so players should ease up on hitting him.
No, the exact opposite. Matthews is strong on his skates so when he gets hit and cross checked it doesn’t send him flying into the boards or the ice face first. If it did then yes you’d have to ease up.

Throw the book at this clown and give him 20-30 games else him or other clowns will never learn.

Are you kidding?

Remember when Matthews got cross-checked and the Leafs media demanded league wide changes?

Every time something happens to a Leaf it has become a league wide problem.

i just watched it again, why shouldn't it be 15 games or something?

crazy disgusting move.

vulnerable position, back of the neck, targets the head, and it was clear to everyone he was looking to do something dirty beforehand.

That would make it one of the longest suspensions in NHL history, so a bit extreme.

He just a skates away from confrontation and hides lol.

Hopfully he gets a long suspension to think about that shit. He's been playing garbage all season and this play is a new all-time low even for him. I'm a Wild supporter and I really want this guy off the team badly even with all the injuries Wild are dealing with.

Glad most wild fans see it the same way. Not all fanbases suck like Oilers, who defend the dirty plays of their players at all cost.

No im not kidding and i didnt write that article. It sounds like its more in line with your opinion than mine.

I agree that this is terrible, but it probably has no negative effect on popularity. People love violence, and they love having villains. It's hard to admit, but it's true.
All the actual evidence goes against that. The NHL has become significantly more popular since fighting has gone down. There is zero actual violence in other sports like basketball , and almost negative violence in soccer which is by far the most popular sport in the world.

It's a 5 gamer for a repeat offender minus 3 for the victim being a Senator.
