They were never representing Stutzle at any point in this process so that's probably why it seems like they didn't do it well

Yeah I get that, but I'm just saying that by so willingly going to bat for Hartman they're essentially telling Stutzle "sorry pal, gotta worry about Ryan's wallet, y'know".

It's literally their legal obligation to go to bat for Hartman, they can't not go to bat for him to the best of their abilities
