You watched a tournemant in which he played some of it injured and playing out of position as a defensive C
Serious question-have you seen a game of his in the KHL?

To be fair to the poster you're replying to, the KHL is less like the style of 5v5 game that is played at the NHL level than the WJC is to the NHL. But ya, Kravtsov was playing out of position, and had a torn tricep. It's hard to judge him there.

he was on the top line, wut u talking about, defensive C? Top line, with tourny leader Denisenko and Kostin. From my viewings, again based on the WJC, he seems to struggle on 5v5 hockey. Simple as that.

Watch more closely then?
Kravtsov was clearly being used as a defensive player, playing deep in his own zone to possibly cover for Denisenko and Kostin
Denisenko and Kostin weren’t any better than Kravtsov either unless you’re stat watching

depends on how u look at it.
Most offensively dangerous player? Denisenko
Best all-around game? Kostin
Most dangerous PP player? Kravtsov

Overall, my russian mvp for forwards was Kostin. Really liked his game overall.

Confirmed you aren't great at evaluating talent.

Guy hasnt the iq to be extremely effective.

For what the NHL? That's not what he said. He was clearly talking about the WJC.

If you were talking about the WJC, he was effective and played solid.

I actually think Kostin played better than Kravtsov too, but again as I said in a previous post, Kravtsov was playing a different position and injured.

The best Russian forwards during the tournament were Slepets and Shashkov with the topline just a little behind.

Kravtsov literally ‘took one for the team’ the entire tournament, playing injured and out of position; and to the detriment of his stat-line and dominance.
He’s the only player (not Kostin, not Shen, not Khovanov) who could've filled the blackhole at C on the #1 line.
Bragin entrusting Kravtsov with that role is a testinent to his versatility, teamplay, and overall 5 on 5 game.

I think he's a slightly better prospect than Buch was. Faster skater and shoots the puck more. Buchnevich is a little more methodical, more of a playmaker, better hockey IQ.

lol what? Better hockey IQ? Krav is already playing a great defensive game to go along with his offense, Buch is still trying to figure out how to play defense at 23. But i'm sure you're not biased in anway, right Pavel Buchnevich?
