Matched points total from last year already.

Wondering if Traktor trades him to a playoff team eventually.
Traktor still has a chance to make playoffs. The only possible situation for trade is if SKA will want him, because nobidy can deny their offer. But I’m not sure that they really need Vitaly in their team.

Hopefully he won't. It's better for him to get top 6 minutes than play on a contender. And he can come sooner to NA to play with Hartford. Him, Chytil, Lias, Hajek and company playing in the calder cup playoffs would be great to watch.

Glinkin on their top line says it all. He was a so-so 3rd liner with us.
You should know better, "top line" is just the names on the protocol, he was 10th in TOI amongst Traktor's forwards.

Same concerns Kravtsov though, a lot of coaches in the KHL don't give a damn about the way they fill the lineup card, best players can be penciled in as a 4th line for all they care. For example, Kaprizov - Shalunov - Shumakov was nominally CSKA's 3rd line throughout the last season.

Regarding the trade, it's far more likely he signs an extension than gets traded. Traktor never even traded Kuznetsov, who had far more value, so there is close to no chance they would see the need to trade Kravtsov for pennies.

Oh the TOI now determines...what?

Actually aside from semantics whoever plays with Kravtsov is on the top line for Traktor. He is their most skilled forward by a mile.

TOI at 10th means they very likely aren't on the top line. [MOD]

Do you really not know the best players are on the ice for the most time, by the conventional logic? If there are 9 forwards alone who get more TOI the 10th one probably isn't considered a top line player, even if he was penciled into the lineup card as such. It's pretty basic stuff really, isn't it?

It's a byproduct of the KHL style where lines aren't always 'role specific' like they are in North America.

Why can nobody deny their offer? Just a figure of speech, or is it more political?

If Traktor doesn't make the playoffs, it would be stupid for them not to trade Kravtsov if SKA come a calling.
They’re low on funds this year, and receiving a boatload of $$ at the deadline for a player who is bolting to the nhl in 2019-20 would be nearly impossible to pass up.

Reactions: supercanuck
Projection: Top 6 scorer with a good chance of being a top line scorer.

I'm bad with comparables… My gut says Tarasenko but my head tells me that's a lazy comparison because they're both Russian :P

No way... the endless near misses are beautiful. I'm sad and disappointed when there's actually a point.
