Coaching change is imminent. The team just bombs.
Well, they started last season 3-1-1-8 and went to the conference finals so if his history tells as anything they are going to be patient.

In a way I agree however, not firing Gatiyatulin was understandable meanwhile achieving any kind of success with Titov seems unlikely.

It's been over a week since I got to meet Vitali Kravtsov and he handed me his stick after the game was over. It was such a great experience. Such a rush. Then 2 days later the Traktor organization posted a video about my meet-up with Vitali on Youtube. I already shared it with the Ranger fans in the HFNYR section but thought it would be fun to share it with others as well.

Although he was definitely encouraged to do that by Trakor's PR staff it's certainly nice of Kravtsov. It has to sting meeting a fan after an 8-0 loss.

Yeah. He was very nice and even a bit nervous. He apologized for the loss but in the end it was still a great experience for me, even if he did not meet me after the game. That he gave me the stick was just a bonus. He signed it afterwards as well. I need to find a nice spot on the wall in my office for that. My guys at work are already asking where I am going to display the stick.

I don't think I have ever seen so many highlight real plays with the result being a player not producing

Speaks to the type of player he could become though; he's showing he needs good players around him to succeed. He's such a great player, and I've been a huge proponent of his, you just have to look through this very thread to see all the sparkling reviews, but there comes a time when ifs and buts are candy and nuts and you just gotta start to convert chances or do it yourself. If he starts to carry this team, and starts scoring this kid will be special, if he just sort of does his thing and creates some highlight reel chances, his ceiling isn't as high as I thought it could be.

He's 18 years old.

Just for reference: KHL numbers of most successful russian players in first 10 games of their respective D+1 seasons:

He's 18 in a professional men's league and his entire team is horribly snakebitten. If this becomes a long-term trend I'll agree with you that it could mean something about the type of player he is, but as of now he's clearly creating most of his teams chances and nobody is finishing.

I think Rangers gonna regret that pick
Because what? Because your team couldn't pick him? He is developing quite well and has the skill to play against men already unlike many draft peers from that 1st round. They will spend the season playing in juniors.
