This kid really should be a mid first round pick. I like him a lot better than Musty, Gauthier, and Barlow
Im not sure Id have him over Barlow, there's value in the physical package he brings, but he is for sure ahead of the other two and much closer to Barlow in quality. Firmly top 15, for me.

Peterborough really blew it with this guy. A lot of guys are struggling on the Petes and you wonder what's going on. Good on Lardis that he got a chance somewhere else before the draft because it's going to change his whole career trajectory.

That's nice but how good is he at hockey?

Really good. He started off the season in Peterborough and he really didn’t impress me much when I watched him. His stat line was 36-12-7-19. Last year he was 63-18-19-37. He really didn’t improve at all and then was traded to Hamilton. That was when things did a complete 180 degree turn. He put up 33-25-21-46 there. He is smaller but has speed to burn. He is easily one of the fastest skaters in the draft. In my viewings he was a zone entry machine with his speed.

I can see him sneaking into the first round. If not I’d be shocked if he passes the second round.

Prime example of how sometimes a little change can make a huge difference. Why it wasn’t working before the trade? Who knows. He has a lot of talent though, which makes him a 2nd, early 3rd.
