McDavid scored 8 goals in 7 games, Michkov has already scored 6 goals in 3 games with playing on the 2nd PP. Not sure about points, but I expect Matvei score more goals, than McJesus. Of course Connor was a whole month younger... As to Ovechkin's 14 goals in 8 games, it's a tough record to even tie it, especially given teams play 7 games max now, I doubt, he'll score as many goals.

Another interesting thing is, McDavid and especially Ovechkin were phenomenally physically developed for 16 year olds, while Michkov's physicality is pretty average, if not below it. He's all about skill and IQ.
That is not true. Watched an interview with him a couple of weeks ago on youtube. He looks like a grown man with a neck like a tree trunk.

... but better at everything at the same age.

Yep but Matthews was also underrated at 16 living in Eichels shadow despite being the more productive player at almost every level at the same age.

If he turns out to be the best goal scorer in the NHL at 23 it would be quite the incredible feat.

Pretty damn outstanding showing so far for him at the U-18s

Going to see him on Saturday, super excited. Seems like the type of player who will be more fun to watch in person.

Will be interesting to see how much his ice time changes going forward

Yurov is the better player up to this point and Miro complements the first line quite well. It looks similar with the power play, Miro is one of the few (very strong) right shooters. Otherwise its only Chibrikov in which case a change maybe would make sense but not sure about that.

How is it anymore disrespect to a goalie than anyother goal? No one is thinking about a goalie when shooting on the net, why should they when they’re behind the net?
Because as i said, it's an annoying cheap trick that doesn't require much skill, but that produces a wow effect on idiots
The goalkeeper is busy trying to prevent a goal from being scored in his nets in a normal way, and i'm sorry for them if now they also have to be on the alert in case if another jk wants to do this bullshit

He is a real moron, this is how i call those who doing this lacrose cheap crap. This stupid shit should be banned, it is simply disrespect to goalie

This is literally what Don Cherry was saying about Crosby back when he did it in 03 and he turned out pretty good.

How about when a football player hurdles or even flips over a defender to get into the end zone? Is that disrespectful?

Goalies are going to need to learn to adapt, like skaters did to their butterfly style and much more gear over the years.

TIL it’s disrespectful to score goals

git gud kid

First player to be "bought" with a transfer fee a la pro soccer? I'm assuming that's the only way he gets to the NHL before his KHL contract expires.

This could be the new way KHL teams get something for their superstar players.

I mean it’s possible he scores another 3 against Belarus/Swiss and then he will have 2 games to try and catch Ovie’s record
