Not TDS, but MDSThere's only a few people posting in this thread, you're one of them, because to be honest who the f*** cares about Michkov. Nobody remembers the 4th best rookie of the year,

Was that you opinion from the start ir did it change over time?I already said Celebrini and Hutson were better several posts ago. Take a lap.

Makes me laugh every time I hear that. How exactly are these coaches holding their players offensively? I’d love some explications to what that means and ideally some examples as well. From Torts to Tocchet. Got to feel for a young star player who needs the freedom to be offensively creative having these two guys for his coaches. Sadly Michkov will be held to the same standard as a 10 year vet for his defensive awareness. And he will have his icetime limited if he doesn’t live up to that standard.,
The day Bedard was announced over Faber last summer, I tweeted Michkov would need to score 70 goals to beat out Celebrini. I knew from the start the clueless media wouldn’t vote him in.
The bottom line is you admitted you were uninformed, which was what I was after all along. Seems to be a thing with the handful of you who are still hurt that your team didn’t draft him. The projection is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

You obviously are unable to comprehend basic English. I adjusted my opinion over the closing months after watching Flames games, reviewing stats and taking into consideration the totality of Michkov’s season. The day Bedard was announced over Faber last summer, I tweeted Michkov would need to score 70 goals to beat out Celebrini. That’s why Crosby has 3 ring and Ovy only has one.
It’s also not a coincidence that the only season Ovechkin really committed to a two-way game he won a cup.
It’s not surprising to see Florida having so many deep run when your offensive leaders are also your best two-way players.
Vancouver had their deepest player run in a decade under Tocchet and could have easily be playing in the finals last year if not for weird injuries to key players.
You can’t have a well rounded, functioning team if your best players don’t fully commit to playing a two-way game. You’ll end up like the Leaf, with a few players closing in on 100 pts every season with the inability to win a best of 7 series in the playoff against a lesser talented but more committed team.
Celibrini -31 is irrelevant right now and the fact that you brought it and then doubled down on your take that Michkov should be free to do whatever he want on the ice (so that he could get as many points as possible during the regular season) tells me that no, you still don’t understand what my point is.
No but your leaders can set the example. If your top players feels like it’s ok want to do whatever you want on the ice then do you think your depth players will bother with the small details?Again & again. It's a team game. One player cannot be expected to carry a team on their back. Pens had stronger depth than the Caps for much of the time they were winning.
So you remembered al.of those off the top of your head or went back and looked?Guess again, Mr. Daigle.
Eric Lindros
Pavel Datsyuk
Carey Price
Anze Kopitar
Henrik Lundqvist
Pekka Rinne
Jack Eichel
Kyle Connor
Miro Heiskanen
Adam Fox
Lucas Raymond

This is what a reasonable and informed evaluator does. He doesn’t just vote for his guy due to homer bias like you do.
Your so blinded by your atteoto “gotcha” and completely missed the point.
As fans we can adjust our opinion as new information is received. Its normal and valuable.
Try to open your mind. I realize that is hard for you to do because you are childishly bitter Michkov was not nominated for Calder.
Get over it! Ir not. Either way i feel sorry for you’. lol

Frankly Calder results have much less long term impact than other end of season trophies.
That's just the reality of the Calder.
Sure I think most people agree with that statement right?Ok so you agree with me.
Wolf was impactful. Obviously. Michkov less impactful.Nah. I just think you’re lying. I definitely don’t think you took the Calder that seriously, to the point where you had to poll Flyers fans (???), then went back watched Flames games (lol). And you definitely didn’t “review stats” because if you did, you would have never needed to amend your initial take that Wolf’s season went from “fantastic” to “impactful”, or incorrectly think he “carried the Flames” when his second half was carried by an offensive explosion.
It’s ok. It happens.
Good on him in taking some responsibility and looking at the big picture.![]()
“I Should’ve Played Better”: Michkov Reflects on Calder Snub, Relationship with Demidov and Praise for Hutson
Philadelphia Flyers forward Matvei Michkov discusses the Calder snub, praises Lane Hutson, supports Ivan Demidov, and reflects on what John Tortorella taught him in Year Onerg.org
Wolf was impactful. Obviously. Michkov less impactful.
See i can break it down in simplistic terms to help you understand!
Sorry that you are still struggling to cope with the Muchkov’s shortcomings! lol
