My point was that Stamkos wasn't a Zach Hyman, he was a star player in his own right.Who didn’t? Lol

But comparing Stamkos’ scoring rate to Ovechkin’s when Stammer had an established top playmaker in the league isn’t so straightforward. My point was that Stamkos wasn't a Zach Hyman, he was a star player in his own right.
I didn't make that comparison. But comparing Stamkos’ scoring rate to Ovechkin’s when Stammer had an established top playmaker in the league isn’t so straightforward.
Michkov is being taught to play the right way by teammates and Torts. And we are seeing him grow. He’s scoring while getting “tough love”.

I don’t know if Bedard is getting the same help with learning to play the right way. So his offensive numbers will be decent but is he ever going to be good defensively?
Imo young players need to learn like Michkov is learning, to play winning hockey.

The last time Torts actually won something Michkov wasn’t even born.
