I've always thought Michkov was a 1B to Bedard 1A. I see this debate going on for their careers, and people's opinions will differ widely based on personal biases and opinions.

One thing is very obvious to me. Anaheim, Columbus, San Jose, my Habs, Arizona......all made the wrong pick.

Respectful post.
Can we say Michkov 1; Bedard 0?

Looking at this photo I can’t help to think that Bedard isn’t going to amount to as much ascMichkov will. One guy looks soft (imo) and the other guy looks tough as nails.

Bedard has the tools to be a franchise guy, he’s 19, a lot of people writing him off is insane. This was two horse draft and in the coming years it will become more and more clear as much as I absolutely love Carlsson

Sorry, but who do you love? Tbh it was obviously a draft with two guts at the top. And Michkov just win (not arguable) round one. Lots of rounds to go, of course, but he’s now in the lead.,

I mean Sid is as nice of a person as one can be
Crosby was a bit of a pest from the very beginning. Ultra-competitor who would would spear you and break your wrist with a slash, but I think some of the comments in here calling Bedard soft are out of line.

I’m objective, I don’t think either is in the lead right now, I wouldn’t trade Michkov for Bedard but wouldn’t blame Chicago fans for being the same way, I think they’re in the same tier. There’s just a freakish IQ that I just knew would make him a star in the NHL since the first time I saw him play as a kid, it’s a unique IQ and I just love how he plays hockey. Bedard is an incredible talent in his own right as well.
