The bum Mitch-kov can't skate, can't play defense, can't speak English, starts fights on the bench that get him scratched, can't score at 5 on 5, but he sure does score a lot of goals and points.

Torts seems to know what he is doing.
This scratching has made Michkov a better overall player. He is producing more and is playing more physical/aggressive.
Hopefully torts knows when to ease off but so far it has worked

Konecny is going to have a 40 G season soon with Michkov feeding him on the PP. Easy to see a Point/Kucherov connection forming there.

He likely would have been exactly as good without the scratching. Saying "he was scratched and now he's playing well" completely ignores the fact that he's just a good player and will play well regardless.

Who knows.
The guy had 1 hit all season prior to scratching.. has hits in every game.
People watching him closer would know more I guess.. I didn't see him play other than highlights ..

Good players sometimes require scratching and benching especially in their rookie season. It's overblown because the coach is Torts.

Sadly I think you are right....the Flyers would be better off without that Russian trouble maker....I just hope he hasn't been tarnished so bad that the Flyers perhaps could still get something for him....
